Formula AFemme Photos from Joe!

Awesome! :thumbup seems like the AFemme group is going pretty strong and good competition. Sounds like a good weekend

So...embarrassing story. I was talking with Deb Barton earlier in the day about how I was really curious about the line between traction and no traction in the front, and how it all relates to trail braking at the end of long sections like the drive out of the carousel. Never having lowsided before, I'd been pushing myself a bit more and a bit more to brake later and deeper. I wondered curiously what a lowside must feel like, sliding along the ground, all to be capped off by a graceful spring to the feet like they do in MotoGP...

This right here is my all time confidence killer. I lowsided once, no warning what so ever, going fairly slow, and what makes matters worst, i have the hardest time reading the front. I have no problem with the rear, so sometimes i wonder if its just the bike, tires, etc or just me not knowing what im looking for that prevents me from understanding front feedback :(

Everyone tells me you just have to have confidence in your tires, but i have a real issue with "blindly" pushing limits

Good luck in your next races!

Very cool. :thumbup

Not to go off topic here; but, is the front tire on backwards on #25's bike?

yeah, all of us poor racer folks know that when one side starts to wear out, you flip it over and use the other side. works for dunlop rears too... :cool

I see. I thought you could only do those with slicks.

Awesome. Glad you're alright, Christie, and thanks for the most excellent report!

There are more pages linked from www.Race-Oil.com for Race 2, class standings, archive of myAFM results and the Formula IV pages.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Edit: Oh yeah, the rest of the pictures I took at the last couple of races of formula IV, formula AFemme and some random racers are labeled "storage" or something like that. They are named by AFM number.
