Might be funnier if:
A. A Brit actually had to show a passport when traveling to France.
B. If my grandfather wasn't rescued by the French after being shot down and evacuated back to safety during WWII.

Something like that happened out at the Farallons. The Marine Mammal Center was releasing a sea lion, they opened up the animal carrier and it wouldn't come out. So they tipped it over the water. As soon as the sea lion hit the water a great white grabbed it.
