Gas Prices

Well, it sure has been fun barely being able to afford groceries, I suspect those days are numbered.

Gonna sting filling up those 30+ gallon Chevy Suburbans.
Talked to a guy once with one who said he was getting 8 mpg when towing.
 
And the flatbill brodozers. All those edge tuners out there may not be helping.
 
I don't have a photo (regrets) but I pulled out of the Costco parking lot yesterday behind a Tesla model Y that had 4 exhaust tips in the center of the splitter. It was playing a recording of an ICE engine. Fun stuff. I will snag a photo if I encounter it again. This is relevant because I had just topped up my Golf R at $6.05 per gallon.

How much profit are the oil companies going to make this year?
I'll bet it's twice their best year in history.
 
I filled up in San Jose yesterday, Costco Gas in San Jose (Senter Rd) is cheaper than Costco Gas in Santa Rosa, Napa and Vallejo. WTF?!
