So, I saw this the other day. Yes, your eyes are functioning correctly. It is a Prius truck. Can't tell from the crappy cell pics, but the workmanship was pretty shoddy. That said, it was an interesting concept. I bet there aren't too many other trucks out there that get that kind of mileage. :laughing

Prius gets mileage in part from the low drag coefficient. I bet it isn't that great anymore.

That said, a hybrid minitruck makes a lot of sense around here.

a step in the right direction, but nutty. :thumbup
I, myself, will wait for the 300hp 25 mpg Ford V-6 in the E150 van platform they promised, but will likely never happen.

I want a diesel-electric truck. I was also wondering what a hybrid electric/gas turbine sports car would be like. Use the electrics for acceleration from a dead stop and the gas turbine for top end.

omg, yes.
wish it could look morre like my '71 Chevy Van with the 67 Vette engine I put in it..but it's a new day, right?

I am on a fence. On one hand it's an improvement, on the other it's not on fire and being crushed.

Genius I think. It looks wrinkled in the back. Which leads me to believe it was totaled in its other life. It has be reincarnated as a light weight pickup, which is all many of us need to haul a couple of bikes.

So does that make it a "Prick"?

Ive been asking toyota when one will be made. Never get an answer. Would buy one in a heart beat. Great concept vehicle for tracak days and errands. Every delivery place would buy one, napa, pizza and chinese outfits, etc...
