I was going to say the same thing. I also have the RF1100, and wear glasses normally (they are a better spit guard than contacts at work - lesson learned the hard way).

a little gimpy
this is a good thread. i keep forgetting to try my glasses in my helmet (Silhouettes / titanium earpieces). I'm OK riding without them but, when I drive, it sure is better WITH the glasses!

I own a pair of Silhouette as well. They bounce all over inside the helmet.
This new pair is "sporty", and has an elastic band that goes behind the head. With gentle moves, I can put on the helmet with the glasses.

I think it would depend largely on the fit of your helmet. I used to wear a Shoei Qwest and I always had trouble getting my glasses to sit properly because the helmet wasn't deep enough to accommodate the length of the stems. Then I got an Arai Profile which not only fit my head much better, but also had no trouble accommodating my glasses.

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah I wear them underneath full face helmet. I have the Wiley X Zak, used them for everything, motorcycle, mountain biking, everyday uses...the are tough as hell too. I also have the Wiley X Rush model, but I wouldn't recommend them for fullface because they do move around a little bit.

Arai is designed with multi piece interior and cut for glasses because Japanese people are smart.

can not say enough, take your helmet to the shop and try on a number of solid plastic frames with the FULL nose bridge NOT the pads. 
i have no problems with mine, but i do have a old pair of metal frames that just do not like to get on one ear.
and remember the glasses come off first then the helmet. pending you have a ff on. if you ware a hd style helmet it does not mater as the glasses will be some place on the rd some miles back.

Wow, I can't do that with my glasses... have to take the glasses off before putting the helmet on, or taking it off...

The issue I ran into with glasses inside helment is not the helmet, it is with the glasses frames. The temple part of glasses (legs of the glasses which extend from the frame up to the ears and sheaths inserted over the tips of the temples allowing you to comfortably wear the glasses) they will sometime be to long and once inserted inside helmet will eventually be pushed forward by the helmet itself. Thats how they end up on the middle of your nose. Or appear that your riding on a very bumpy road cause the glasses are constantly moving and not making a solid contact with bridge of nose.
I have Oakleys what have solid temple legs that are arched inwards and do not have sheaths they dont work too good for me becasue the temples loose their inward bow when inserted in helmet and the tip will make contact with helmet so sometime when i ride they swivel and not even rest on the bridge of my nose. Not good feeling.
The best glasses i have found are the flexible lightweight ones. Where the temple part are very flexible.Since they are flexible they will conform to the shape of your head inside the helmet. With or without baklava.
My biggest issue is riding when cold. My glasses fog up and I have to open my vent a bit to unfog, then when I do that the cold air wil make my eyes tear up and when that happens the tears get on my lenses which leaves a very bad streak inside lenses that i cannot clean without taking off glasses.

I have an Arai helmet... I've had good results with thin-framed glasses with the Temples bent IN against my head as close as possible.
If the temples bow outwards, they rub against the helmet while it's bobbling/vibrating on your head and it fuzzes up the view.

FWIW, I tried my silhouettes last night and they seemed ok. So I wore them during this morning's commute and it was no problem! Shoei RF-1100. but then again, my ear pieces have een tweaked so many times (from sitting on them and bending them back a gizillion times) that they are kind of a custom fit.
