Rest in peace Gary. You will be missed, especially in person as in forum.

A long time AFM'er, Gary was always a hard charger on the track, someone I actually enjoyed riding on track with (I was one of the few who enjoyed riding with him) and a guy who'd bust balls on this forum like no other. I will miss Gary.

Now for the second time this year, we lose an AFM #13. Such a loss to the moto community, I'll miss Gary. This one hits so very close to home. AFM'ers please keep safe. All of you. If you believe in something after death, send Gary a good thought. I'm hoping the other #13 becomes his guide. Although I know you won't, go peacefully Gary.

Gary will be greatly missed. Such a huge peace of the motorcycle community and AFM. I'm so glad I got to meet and race against him. One of the 1st people I met at my 1st trackday and he was the last person I said goodbye to at my last race with AFM.

Maybe retire #13? Just a thought.

A friend of twenty years and a totally class act has left the room. Let's all tip our hats, guys like Gary don't come along very often, and when they leave they are missed. RIP, friend.

dumbfounded and so sad, how can such a cruel thing happen to this man. what did he do to deserve this fatal death? Gary was a jem at track and street. Teaching about safety and efficient motorcycle riding was his moto. His depth of knowledge on riding and motorycles will be missed. Will miss his rain rides, will miss following the 250 on the backroads. will miss his short smile and silent nods..... :cry

Or on the flip side, run it in his honor. I do not qualify. Barley knew him, but a loss like his affects us all in the community.

Gary will be missed. Great man and special person to all that knew him in our m/c community. I have nothing but good memories of riding and chatting with him. God speed GJ.

I've never met him in person, but we are all diminished by one, and my heart goes out to those deeply touched and affected. Godspeed.

Well said Berto. So long Gary, you will be missed.

One of my last AFM races was against Gary. He beat me. Great man. Godspeed!

From all of us at Feel Like a Pro we send our deepest sympathies and warmest thoughts to Jill, family, friends and all those touched by Gary's passion for 2 wheeled things and in particular, the 250cc motorcycle which Gary made so prominent in the coastal hills.

Sad news. Gary was one of my main competitors racing motocross back in the 90's. He was a great guy, even back then...he will be missed by alot of people.
