Hardwood, Laminate or Carpet?

You have to get the carpet toilet seat cover to match with the floor, that's the only way carpet in the bathroom feels right.

How about those U shaped carpet pieces that straddle the base of the toilet. Why????

Get rid of the carpets...they are just dirt and bug households now anyway.

Cover the good wood with the cheapest vinyl that will work for you.
My entire place is covered in ONE sheet of linoleum/vinyl.
No seams means no leaks.
It's got a great hardwood slat print that still looks brand new after it's cleaned and mopped.
I don't even have to sweep...I just use my 18V Ryobi Blower and blow everything out the door.

BTW...Redwood is definitely NOT a HARDwood.
