I rode a Honda Rebel, just to take my motorcycle license test a long time ago. That was really not a fun bike at all.

I felt the same way about a Ninja 250 someone gave me years ago. I rode it for a few months, then gave it to someone else.

Easy to answer. The two 1098R's Siggy rode in AFM. Fun to ride, but we went through about 10 motors in one season.

Although riding around Miller on one the day after the WSBK races chasing Chris Ulrich was def a highlight of my motorcycling career!!:cool

Harley Heritage Softail Classic. Seems I could never find the right gear...either felt too high or too low.

'97 zx7r. fat carbed pig piece of shit

Suzuki Savage 650. Underpowered, underbraked, lousy handling, uncomfortable ergonomics. Better than no moto, but not by much.

Thank you for that option! :laughing

I'm still kinda new (again!) so I have to say no. The Spyder is something of an enigma; for turning, it's shit. For slabbing it IS the shit! And it got me back in the wind, and for that I'll be forever grateful. But 2 wheels are the way to go. I rode a VTX 1800 once; thought I was gonna hate it and I loved it! Surprised the hell out of me really. SO to this point there isn't a motorcycle that I haven't liked.

The only bike that I rode that I got a "negative" one (a relative term) was my friends Honda Shadow 750. Now, to be fair, not a bad bike, but the cruiser seating position and handling didn't do it for me.

On the opposite end of the extreme was my friends Buell...that thing made me want to do bad things...I mean, it scrambled my nuts under 2000 RPM, but after that, it was pure fucking awesome...

Kawi z750s - thought it was everything I wanted in a second bike- Semi faired and not common as muck. Test rode one- heavy, pogo suspension and the seat had so much pitch it was impossible to keep thy nuts comfortable. Major disappointment. Ended up with a svs and never looked back.

the only thing i could say was mayyybe a 06 and up r6

but its still so fun the nut discomfort can be forgotten

i have a memory of camping at t-hill next to turn 1, and at about 3 am, walking across the padock to the blue room next to the parts wash station, which was in use with one of Siggy's mechanics and an entire disassembled 1098r engine

seems to me he had some good results the followig day's races, too

Monster 696.
1) snatchy throtttle
2) wide and high bars (couldn't find clipons that would work with it)
3) seat sloped so that the tank was always too intimate
4) horrible wind buffeting
5) had to ride the clutch in parking lots b/c it would shudder at ~10mph or less.
6) vibes
7) not enough leg room
8) not enough power

Yup... rode an HD a few years back, and good lord what a piece of vibrating, ill-handling crap. So obnoxiously loud that it was embarrassing.
Also rode a big scooter... a BARFer was kind enough to let me take it for a spin... it's one of those bigger ones that he actually rode to Texas. Didn't like the whole "feet on the deck" thing, but what I really disliked was the HUGE windscreen... no air blowing through my slightly raised visor... it was like being in a car with the windows up. About half way through the ride, I found myself leaning slightly off to the side, so I could get some airflow! :laughing

My buddies and I found out, on some Honda Spree.scooters, that you can really get hurt on those things, enough so that you've got to limp in to work and act like it happened there to get some medical treatment. I've always had a lot of fun on scooters.

I am nearly six feet tall and I don't like Honda Rebels. Carry on!

Zx14. Too much power for me. I was following the owner who was kinda an ahole on his cbr1000 after he took off on a couple mile straight away and turned around after I realized why I had caught up with him after seeing a VERY large number on the speedo with out feeling it at all.

I wanna change my vote :mad :teeth

Me too!

I can picture you, kinda like a pup sticking its head out the window of a car.
