Hawthorne Rally 2010 Photo Thread

I hit 162, on a bike that only goes 152...due to the 25-30 mph tail winds we had coming in...that was the coolest feeling in the world. I felt like i was floating for about 5 minutes.
Remember that sand storm that was off to the right of Hawthorne though? It looked like we were riding full speed into the apolcalypse.

Being in "close proximity" I can testify that Dani was "HAULIN THE MAIL!"

if you would get your ass to Hawthorne you would see how much better your bike runs in the higher altitude.

You gain like 2 octane on your fuel and you run a bit leaner. I easily get 10mph more than spec says on my bike up here.

I don't recall seeing your ass last Labor Day on the run to GARDNERVILLE, NEVADA, to hang with Dale & Karen.

Dale, I didn't notice any difference in performance when I was up there last year. Then again, a literbike really doesn't care.

I know that with a two-stroke you might as well hang it up at that altitude.
