I'm thinking that your numbers are outside the national norm being in the Bay Area with much more moto-centric and be-who-you-are thinking.

As mentioned to LuchTriple, I wish I see more of you lady riders out there. The last large group I did was with the Pediatric Brain Tumor ride sponsored by Honda. It was a good size group so it required police and CHP escort.
I saw a nurse riders club there. Their members are made up of mostly female nurses so that was nice to see. Also saw many other female participants there but mostly as passenger, not operator. Even with the nurse riders club included, the overall female motorcyclist participants only made up a small percentage of the whole group. I say probably about 10% based on my guestamation?
Hope to see more of you ladies operating a moto out there.
Wait until TWT is back on her wheels, you gonna wanna ride like a girl.![]()
I could be wrong, but rides likes you described are more geared toward clubs. It seems like aside from women only groups, women don’t join standard clubs as often and a big reason may be that they have a (misplaced) reputation for starting out like HA and have to work down from there to be inclusive enough to attract any women. It’s boring and a waste of time to have to fight for your rights at every turn, so we make our own groups.
So if we’re riding together the only way to tell who’s who is I’ll be try to catch up?@Melissa thank you for you kind words. i am definitely broken but hoping to be back on two soon.
@ThumperX i enjoy riding like a girl. i even have a fleece @bikewanker made me that has “rides like a girl” embroidered on it.
@Lucytriple i fell in the with smr guys inadvertently. they took me under their wings and bam, i was part of the show up or dont group.
i can’t see myself joining a club. a lot of my riding is solo or with just one other person. i aspire to look like a fat old man with my gear and bikes so good luck spotting me.
