How do you handle changing between bikes?

the thing I have the most problem with is switch location. The bikes I ride most are a CTX-700 for commuting and a 05 Ducati Multistrada for sport. Of course the bikes handle very differently but the thing that drives me nuts is that the turn switches and horns are in opposite locations, I'm always blowing the horns while trying to cancel the turn signal or hunting for the horn as a car merges into me.

My 'tard doesn't have a horn and the turn signals don't work very well so that hasn't been much of a problem. It does incite riding like an asshole though.

i have the small, medium and mclargehuge bikes. so when i go from small to mclargehuge i just mount the whale and jiggle it around with both my feet on the ground. reminds me how much heft im handleing. but you get used to it like others have said.

Takes me a day or so to get used to the switch, longer going from the Hawk to the Ninja, worse if I've neglected one over the other for a time. They are like night and day for obvious reasons.

Honestly, though, it's more fun to ride the Hawk on the street. I can rev it out, it sounds great, and rev matched downshifts are so satisfying. And the handling is not bad at all.

Like all Hawk owners, I wish it had a magic fuel tank to get the range closer to 250 miles.
