I’m raising money to build a Muslim gay bar next to the Ground Zero mosque

do you count the original building footprint or blast radius?

because by pro-mosque measurement logic, Hiroshima Ground Zero would only be the size of the device dropped.

The location in question was close enough to be physically damaged by the WTC collapse. That makes it Ground Zero by most non-apologist logic.

As long as you're using the same definition of "next to," that the media is, go for it!

:rofl

So was all of Manhattan below Canal, at least.

:laughing

I think it's pretty awesome that petty partisan politics can convince homophobic Chistians to suddenly cheer for a Muslim gay bar near Ground Zero.

The muslim apologists will never understand it. :rolleyes They cannot see past the knee jerk political correctness and their world view, liberal brand of inbred guilt to make everything morally equivalent just to call themselves tolerant and inclusive. "The reaaaaaaaally like me!" :|

We would never...ever.. accept a shrine to Emperor Hirohito to cast a shadow over Pearl Harbor, yet we are supposed to be tolerant to a puke Imam who supports Hamas and has untold millions unaccounted for to build a Mosque within eye shot were Islamic terrorists murdered 3,000 people. Not only in bad form, bad taste, and a poor public relations decision by Muslim supporters, but totally un-called, sick, and twisted to all those living with 9/11.

An inter-faith place of worship? Fine. That would encompass true respect. But let me tell you, body parts were found blocks from ground zero...people that were in those planes and buildings were spread in the particulate dust for blocks... That area is sacrosanct for blocks IMO and that of the majority of American's. Go build your mosque somewhere else...this one isn't getting built if NY's and the real "moderate" Muslims are to stand up for decency and honest motives meant to heal after what Islam has brought us on our soil.

I applaud Gutfeld for taking the position liberals don't have the nuts to do...using the diversity NY is so well known for, and using it where liberals hypocritically would never use it. Its not about partisan politics either its about not picking an open, fresh wound when other options should be explored and taken. Gutfeld rocks. I'm not a Republican, Christian or a Jew either so the bigger point wasn't lost despite what I see are the typical ad homs and attacking points by the left. An attempt at building a mosque near ground zero wasn't even a surprise to me, it just follows the behavior of Islam as they do around the rest of the world.

hahahaha yes the fox news crowd really brings pettyness, immaturity, and intellectual dishonesty to new heights don't it? :laughing

additionally, it isn't even a mosque.
It's not?

Where are the cheering homophobic people? Did you see people in the background of a news report or something, and how did you know the people cheering(if any) were homophobic and Christian?

Did they wear a Jesus cross on their neck and a Tshirt that said "God hates fags"?

Im not homophobic, christian or far right, just a middle of the road kind of guy and i approve of turnabout being fair play.

Everyhting i have read say its to be mosque and cultural center?

Also as far as gay bars there already are a few around it so I don't think their lil ploy is going to work if it ever takes off.

no, it's more than a 1/2 mile from ground zero too

I stand corrected, it still isn't a mosque or on ground zero though. Also, turnabout of what?

it's a muslim cultural center, kinda like an old school YMCA but muslim.

And no prayers take place in this "center"?

Trying to determine how you go about taking away the definition of mosque just because it's not exclusive to prayer.

Furthermore, isn't all the learning going on there not about Muslims, but rather about ISLAM??
