It's a Blue 1987 K75s w/ 44k With both bags! ABS is broke tho.. hmm..

Ohh the seat is wonderful and it makes this beautiful 3-cyl whirring sound!

I'm swooping to Arizona now!

Congrats! Those are pretty cool bikes. Can't wait to see some pics of the new steed.

i've always had a kind of crush on the k75s, especially the blue one i think?

I always liked the copper colored ones. It's an okay bike, it's not 1000cc powerful but it's also not as heavy feeling and slow revving as a full sized 'brick'.

The wind screen SUCKS!

I'm about to go put this bike to the real test and get some coffee and ride home on it, one handed. :laughing

I'll let you know how it works out.

Yes, and while you're at it lets get some pics up so we can see it. Thanks :thumbup

Ok I'm lost, baffled, confused and clueless (as usual). Chad went to Arizona for the bike?

Did you teleport there?
Damn even if you fly there i would expect the delays and hassles at the airport to take longer.

Oooooooh nice!:thumbup

Time to go touring :ride

Great, great bike! :thumbup

All right.. First I talk 'old' and now y'all somehow get that I swooped to AZ for this bike? :rolleyes

I traded my truck for a bike last night; I traded a bike for the truck back in 09.

The truck was originally a bike but I needed a truck, now I had two trucks and no decent bikes so I turned the truck into a bike again.

Whew! Still with me?

This is 'Chadsan-do Economics'; I cashed in my bike 'stock'. :laughing

Congrats!

Miss mine. Took it to 75k before I sold it and not a single issue fwiw.

:rofl:rofl:rofl

seriously though, congrats! nice bike man :thumbup

Had a 1987 K75S for 20 years; great bike, even better after San Jose BMW ported the engine, installed bigger valves and injectors to where it actually had a power band with a "hit" in it!

Not sure I've ever ridden a bike with a smoother engine.

May still have a cut down windshield for it that eliminated the buffeting.

If I find it I'll PM you and send it to you free.

Also have the original mirrors for it...I took them off before it was taken away by the insurance company...if you need them I can send them to you also...heck, I even have the original Manual and Tool Kit if you want those also!

Sadly it was killed by a left turning granny 4 years ago or I'd still have it.

I don't recall ABS being offered as an option when I bought mine in 1986.

Photo of me on mine a million years ago at a CLASS School at Sears:

Does any owner group keep their bikes in better condition than BMW owners? I swear everytime I see a used BMW for sale, it looks like it's never been out in the elements, yet it's got 80,000 miles on it.
