My dad had this thing sitting in the garage for ages. About 6 years ago he took it to a moto shop in LA to have it slowly worked on. Looks like he just picked it up today, it's back up and running again and he's gonna bring it to me in SF one day soon. I think it still has the original 37 year old tires, sheesh!

Spare parts? :wtf I won't even ask.

Oh boy.

Such a beauty.

I envy you.:thumbup

Wow. Cable-actuated drum brakes! What're those like?

It looks delightfully cowboy-themed, what with the brown-on-brown paint and brand-like, uh, brand. :loco

PS: you appear to have a ridiculously large garage.

Nice.... what u gona do to it?

I was day dreaming about the usual jap bike ricer hop-up gizmos, you know, a fender eliminator, titanium exhaust, Power Commander, integrated LED turn signals, bogus PIAA pretend HID blue tint headlight, ground effects lighting, extended swingarm, icky sticky race tires, etc. Oops, it ain't no jap bike so I guess it will be I'll have to skip the ricer stuff and do some CZ/Jawa goulash hop-up stuff, bailing wire, burlap, tinfoil, etc.

:twofinger

Actually the bike is running but with hardly any power. I just want to get it running well. The exhaust pipe is very restricted and lacks an expansion chamber so the power is almost nil.

Twenty years ago I had 125cc two-smoker moto-cross CZ.

Good times.

Cool, I found some info on the spark plug.

Looks like Electrode Material is just that, in any language.

Be sure to post it up in the cool retro moto photo thread.

:teeth

I've always said that the D-type Rozmer Pouzdra was the best. You A-type h8rs can stow it.

Dude, can't you say something like "In Zoviet Rhosshia, TOO STROKES is all we could afford" for once?

It makes Americans feel tingly to know that people have come here for a better life.

SWEET! Rode one almost new once upon a time. Friend had one, I had a Penton 125 with a Sachs DKW engine in it. Was cool...had a neutral between every gear!!! :thumbup They were the bomb back in the day!

That bike is cherry....I would leave it bone stock and keep it a collectors item!

H8ter.

Given the right amount of love, care (read: hand grooving) and shoe material one can easily get a leading edge shoe system to stoppie.

Even on a Vespa. Controllably.

Don't make me bust out 20 year old negatives from the garage, bitch. :twofinger

Cough, cough*steamin pile* cough! With the color to match!:laughing Just be sure it doesn't break down at work, cause ya can't keep it here!

Nice pick up. :thumbup

I hear CZ and I automatically think of Brad Lackey. Woo hoo!

That bike is sweet. And to think we use to strip them down and make dirt bikes out of them. I would keep that baby just like it is and show it off from time to time.
