I just placed a deposit on a Chinese Unicorn!

Bike is still in the van. Clearing space in the debris field that is our shop. One non starting Beta 439 on the rack and gawd only knows how many defunct shop vac attachments everywhere. :mad

Seeking order. I’m going to drop the bike down an inch. Adjust the sag and pull the fork tunes up a bit.
It is a broad shouldered little thing making it seem larger than it actually is in real life. Not crazy about the tower but it’s part of the bike so there it is.

Bike is out of the van and in the shop. Hoping my boots show up as well as my riding pants in the next few days. (My gear burnt up along with the RV in May)
This bike is genuinely pretty.IMG_1868.jpeg

Right on. :thumbup

With the new gear and your smile the whole set up will be pretty.

It may be a bit early for this, I don't know if you have noticed yet, , ,
Living with your Blue Beauty,
But,
Way back for Easter, when all this moto lust was flowing,
Safeway's marketing presented this to Cottonwood,
I was afraid of spoilage, freshness date and all.
I left it, and took a pix. been hanging on my desktop for months.
For You G !

The Unicorn seems to stick. I’ll take her out tomorrow on jeans sweat shirt and hiking boots for a gentle ride. It’s really a lovely thing.

Have to head for mom’s so no time to dial in the suspensions :cry

Before you do anything to the suspension,(other than spring sag,) I strongly suggest / you ride it to have a feel for the baseline handling.

Yesterday I was in the City and saw one with MT Red Bull graphics. Rider pulled a sic wheelie across 5th st.

Magnificent!!!
I think it is magnificent you can appreciate a sic wheelie. :Port

As my buddy L8BRAKER says "You owe it to the motoring public". Only some of the motoring public appreciates it though.

Exactly!

The CF Moto IBEX 450 is a 2025 adventure motorcycle featuring a 449cc parallel-twin engine delivering 44 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 32.5 lb-ft of torque at 6,250 rpm. It boasts a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, adjustable KYB suspension, and a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. Priced at approximately $6,499 in the U.S., it offers a competitive option in the adventure touring segment.

Slipper clutch catching my attention. I purchased a slipper clutch for my CR 500 but never installed. Probably pretty nice.

Just dropped it an inch with the factory options
Now installing the high fender and crash guards.

Looks great, One thing that jumps out at me is the Wide rim and short sidewall on that rear, keep that thing aired up!

I know the hardcore off-road KTM 890r guys complain about the stock wheels being too wide so they switch to normal with dirt bike style rims so they can run narrower knobby tires with tall side walls for more traction and better rim protection.
