this is what buell should be making, instead of vacuum cleaners, j/k, buells are just ahead of their time in some
aspects, i happen to like classic styling and design.

**Drool** Even tho it is made in France. Beautimously Skootchy!! (I'll have one in siver)

Grey marketing one? You'd need to get someone to bring it in, and conform it to FMVSS standards. Even tho it's E3, it's not US OK until it has the cert.

Bad news is it can be pricey. Good news is if someone's done this to the same year, make, and model already it can help to get yours in. But line up the importer and certifier and make sure they CAN do it BEFORE you plunk the euros down on her, as it REAALLY sux to bring something over just to have to museum-or-lose-it her... OR try to scud run it until it's impounded and mashed.

Hand's down - The Yamaha Tricker

You can urban trials ride on a DRZ400SM (or any supermoto or dual sport) but having that seat clearance would be super fun.

Bosozoku
Yakuza right?

let me clarify. pull up a chair, and get one of those fizzy girlie drinks.

Bōsōzoku (暴走族, Bōsōzoku? "violent running tribe") is a Japanese subculture associated with motorcycle clubs and gangs and sometimes also with car clubs like the one called Yankee which in Japanese means punk.

They were first seen in the 1950s as the Japanese automobile industry expanded rapidly. The first bōsōzoku were known as kaminari-zoku (雷族 "Lightning Tribes").

It is common to see bōsōzoku groups socializing in city centers and parks. They often play loud music characterized by their lifestyle, such as The Roosters, and the Street Sliders, and attract a large audience when they start dancing.

The word bōsōzoku is also applied to motorcycle gangs, who share an interest in modifications (often illegal) for motorcycles, such as removing the mufflers so that more noise is produced. Bōsōzoku also engage in dangerous or reckless driving, such as weaving in traffic, not wearing motorcycle helmets, and running red lights. Another activity is shinai bōsō (市内暴走) speeding in city streets, not usually for street racing but more for thrills. With many bikes involved, the leading one is driven by the sentōsha (先頭車), the leader, who is responsible for the event and is not allowed to be overtaken. Japanese police call them Maru-So (police code マル走), and dispatch a police vehicle to trail any groups of bikes to prevent any possible incidents. Which can include riding through suburbs at speeds of 5–10 miles an hour, creating a loud disturbance and waving imperial Japanese flags, to starting fights which can include weapons such swords and Molotov cocktails. These bōsōzoku gangs are generally composed of people under the legal adult age, which is 20 years old in Japan, and are subject to increasing state and police pressure.

i think most of it is made elsewhere. also can be custom ordered in other colours.

if it was an antique, it would not be a problem.. who would one find to certify it, gov agency?

one could get daily 'parade' permits to drive it or just track it, but that sort of defeats the spirit of the chassis type. that would suck to have to museum it. since the EU, all euro vehicles meet unifrom standards, should not be any harder than bringing over a bmw or ducati. i think there are a few here in the states of the earlier years.
