:wave Hi Terry!
Drat, now that I think about it, I have trackday on the this coming monday and then the Bahamas on the 15th. :cool I'll have to wait till I get back. I need to ride Infineon for the 1st time :ride

Fuggit, I'm in. Hope the Afmers don't bring my fairings with them when they scream past :)

Bastids, I'm still working on track day number two... gzzz, every one has like 10 times more track miles than me. Yall are going to blow me away:(

Just do it Brian, you'll be fine. I've only been there once and it wasn't a normal trackday so you know my slow ass will be sweeping.:ride

Bring K and caravan with me and Poopie-doo. :)

ama config

You should be fine in B mang, you've done as many days as I have and I ran respectable b-pace my first time there in the uber cold

I feel the need to work on my passing skills some more in the C group, B group I will be passed all day long :laughing

werd, i feel ya. I surely didnt jump until I was basically easily passing everyone in C

Passing is key I believe and it needs to be done safely. When I was at Buttonwillow few weeks back with the Keigwins running in the B- group, more like a B group really at the pace everyone was going. I was having the need to pass some riders here an there, first couple times I was nervous as shyt an couldnt find the right line to get around the rider. But I was getting the hanging of it and getting more confidence in my abilities to safely pass another rider. But I for sure should hang it out alil more in the C group or B- with the keigwins till an instructor sees me ride.

Maybe later on in the day I'll try to get a taste of the B group with a tow from an instructor if they allow that.

Whats the deal with discount codes?

Who gets them?

How do I?

Yes I'm a cheap bastard :x

I believe they shut em down 30 days prior to the event, you have to sign up early to save money. Not sure, best bet is to email David an just ask.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the providers have a certain number of discounts for a particular trackday. Once they've reached that number, the discounts are gone for that day. That's why you want to sign up early. Early bird gets the worm.... and trackday discount.:thumbup

Well, gonna have to back out and put myself down as tentative for this one :\ A few, ahem, expenses have come up. Helmet and novice school being the two most important ones :) :twofinger

Don't be discouraged, Buttonwillow is a tough track to make clean passes at regardless of which group you are in. Every turn seems designed to create choke points/ rumble bump you into the tumble weeds even if you aren't passing.

That's why ZZ doesn't go there anymore, and why I love them so:teeth They keep me from needing to spend thousands on suspension just to come hang out with them:rofl

I'll be there. Not sure how I'm getting there, but I'll be there. Would welcome a ride up there (and I'd pay for my share, of course) - nicolep, sent you a pm.

Who cares! We're all there for the same reason—to have fun while getting better. It will be a blast and I can't friggin' wait to get back on the track after a 6 month hiatus. See you there.

i'm there...
still debating whether to rent an R6 and leave my 848 at home :x

If you've got money to buy a track R6, then go rent one. Otherwise don't, cause I'm telling you, an R6 is made for the track and you will love using one there. :teeth
