Is masturbation a sin/wrong per the bible...?

Not necessarily. If you're like 99.99999999% of christians you simply ignore the parts of the new testament that you don't like (described as cafeteria style earlier in this thread).

Christ was pretty clear in his statement about NOT lifting the burden of mosaic law and the rules of the torah in his famous sermon on the mount. I'm doing this from memory, but I believe it is Matthew 5:17 - 5:21. It basically says he's not here to change one word or even a single letter of the laws that have come before him.

The bible: bad plot, poor character development, unbelievable story lines.

It also depends on what version of the Bible you use. Not all are the same.:|
 
I just flipped through my pocket bible and didn't see anything in there about blumpkins or the dirty sanchez, so I think those are accepted sexual practices...

not always. under certain conditions, you were simply considered 'unclean' and could redeem yourself with washing with water (what, no soap???eewww!) and waiting a period of time, sometimes as little as the end of the day.

the folks raising turtle doves, pigeons, rams, bulls and ewes were making a killing- literally hundreds of transgressions required a blood sacrifice, to be burned on an alter in a specific manner. just cutting your hair too short was an offense against God (picky MoFo wasn't he?)

I have to wonder, if these people were following all of these rules and making everything they touched unclean and constantly washing everything they owned and themselves how they ever got anything, like say, farming, done?

If you're single 1st Thessalonians 4:3-5 get a hold of yourself :teeth

But you've got to ask yourself if you start out with a beer then need a six pack a day, then a case per day, you should probably cut back because you're getting addicted, same goes for masturbation.
