Is Oakland the worst in the Bay Area, problem for everyone!?

Ha Vallemo. Yeah, interesting enough, they all had Kaiser shipyards. Of course, so did Hunters Point.

Well, I'll admit, I haven't been to the Iron Triangle in a number of years, but I still doubt Oakland has much to offer that can compare to that sub-Saharan level of savagery. Most of the Oakland I see is pretty chill over by Lake Merritt and Piedmont.

Actually my friends and I have a theory on the BART "Freedom Train".

Pay attention to all the shopping Malls along the BART route. Starting with oakland and heading south. Yup, seriously rotting to shit.

I'm backwards on this. I live in SJ and worked in Oakland for years. Fuck Oakland.

San Jose is a fucking mess in certain areas. Oakland is just a fucking disaster any where but the expensive ass East Hills area. And well, that's just a death trap waiting for another fire... :laughing

The fifties were "Great" ( economically) due to a world war we won, and the fact that the US was not touched by that war. We ended up with a booming economy due to WWII spending, and no competition in the rest of the world. It lasted a couple decades. By early 1970 things had changed markedly. In 1950 a high school graduate ( as pointed out, white) had a good chance of getting a good job that would support a family. That began to change as the world recovered and got more competitive. (and as capitalism succeeded and more and more power and money went into the hands of the wealthy and their servants, the politicians..)
