The Drive to Survive formula will be applied to the IOM TT.

The Hollywood Reporter: Channing Tatum’s Free Association, Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment Team for Docuseries, Feature Film on Isle of Man TT

Tatum’s Free Association, Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, screenwriter Jason Keller, Entertainment 360’s Guymon Casady and Box to Box Films are behind the ventures, which are looking to capture the growing global interest in a wide swath of the sports world worldwide. It also comes as more streamers, media companies and nations pour money into sports at the highest corporate levels.''...
The docuseries began production this week. Titled The Greatest Race On Earth, it will focus on the Isle of Man TT race, which some have called one of the most dangerous competitions on the planet and is being held in June this year. Box to Box Films, behind racing doc shows Drive to Survive and Tour de France: Unchained, is producing along with Plan B, Free Association, Entertainment 360 and Keller.

Getting my fix. 30 Euro's is a deal for the streaming.

Really amazing view. CRAZY FAST!!!! :wow
Got my heart rate up and makes me wonder why I bother with a go pro :laughing
Course knowledge is so damn important.. no wonder it takes years to get up to speed.

Todd is really showing his stuff this year. A contender for top spot.

Watching the Supersports. Luv the middleweights.!
They do shread. Congrats to Michael Dunlop on the win. Tying Joey with 26 TT wins.
I think he felt the history.

Davey Todd had a great ride on the Ducati.

Nice to see Harrison on the podium again... first on a Honda.

A little heart break followed in Superbike for Dunlop.
A small screw up getting a face shield replaced during a pit stop forced him to stop and fix it on course.
Cost him 45 seconds and the win. He road like a mofo with a last lap of 135.97 mph. Still left him in 4th and handed the win to Hicky. Todd shown well with a 2nd and Harrisson took 3rd.

The podium boys:

Peter Hickman

Davey Todd

All three acknowledged that Michael had them covered.
McGuiness had a solid outing. 130mph lap at 53 yo. :applause

Dean Harrison

Yeah... he had to be gutted. A couple more shots to stand on the top of the all time win list this year.

At 35 he has quite a few years left to raise the bar.

I paid the 30 bux for streaming. They have summaries on YouGube.

Michael Dunlop -- HISTORY!!!
Supertwins Win for #27... and the all time most wins moving past his famous Uncle Joey. :thumbup

Here he flies by on lap 3 of 3.

Dunlop leads Coward over the hill. Saw a top speed of 162 plus for Dunlop. When he passed Coward the man chasing 3rd stuck on his ass!

Congrats to Dunlop for raising himself into the position of the GREATEST TT RACER of all time (at least in wins!). :applause

1. Dunlop
2. Hickman
3. Herbertson (his first TT podium)

If the helmet thing did not happen this would have been 28. He has been super solid so far in '24.

Enjoyed the Superstock Race.

Davey Todd jumped to the lead, but Hicky with his love of the mountain brougth the lead down to .080 sec at the 27 mile mark. Close or what!!! Harrison and Dunlop were also super close in the battle for the podium.

All riders MUST pit at the end of lap 1. Then 2 full laps to the flag.

Todd was leading by 1.7 secs at the grandstand (pit stop) picking up some time in the last few miles.
He had a 133mph lap from a standing stop...! :wow

Hicky is not doing no damn visor change! :laughing

1717698324367.png

Todd had a quicker pit stop and picked up a bit.

Back on the road for lap 2 of 3, when they got to Glen Helen here was the standing. Todd's quicker pit stop gave him a small cushion, but Hicky typically goes faster the longer
the race goes. Both are on BMW 1000RR's btw.
1717699284722.png
and... as I noted. Hicky is on it! Next time check is Ballaugh Bridge.
1717699625717.png

Dunlop is riding fast too... another podium perhaps?? Harrison is riding great and close!
1717699832352.png

Todd picked up tenths by Ramsey (2.40) and then they go up the mountain. Hicky territory.

First mountain sector gaps has Hickly closing in.
1717700149603.png

As they start the last lap still super close at the top.
1717700432378.png

Hicky working it. Gap down a tick at Glen Helen.
1717700935908.png

Dunlop with some traffic. Catching McGuiness.
1717701132620.png

Hicky closing in!
1717701232423.png

Todd really wants to win one of these.. and increased his lead, but has 3 riders just ahead.
1717701518946.png

Going up the mountain the helicopter shots really catch the speed!

Ran into 10 photos.. see next post!

1717701725605.png

Hicky got held up by a fast James Hillier.
1717701900850.png

Todd got through traffic well and caught Dunlop just as they crossed the finish line..!

And the winner is

Congrats to the SS Podium boys. Well done :applause
