It's REAL, you doubting b!tches... Honda RCV1000 v4 street bike

So much for being all about that engine
It's $184,000. It better do more than just go in a straight line. I would never buy one, unless I already bought a Vette ZR-1, where I would still have money left over for tires, tickets, and a weekend or two in Tahoe. And go faster, I will bet.
Isn't this the Brit MCN's 317th prediction about an RVF/RCV streetbike?
Don't know, but it's Larry's 360th post of his Honda. :twofinger

They are hitting the streets now.

I'd rather the graphics resembled a modern motogp Honda instead of Freddie Spencer's mid 80's machine. No offense Freddie, you're probably the greatest of all time.
I guess I always hated Honda graphics.

Freddie is old, but not that old. Those are classic Honda graphics from before Freddie ever made it to Grand Prix.

Here you go, almost 30 pavement-melting horsepower in modern MotoGP Honda graphics. Happy now? :laughing

Looks like a fun bike

With a corporate sponsor logo on the side....F that! I wanna see the classic Honda tricolor graphics on this Instant Classic collector's item motorcycle, not the FedEx Buffalo Wild Wings RCV1000. :p

Actually after look up pics of Freddie's old bike thats exactly how I'd like this new one to look. Talk about a 180

You know the appearance of a logo on the side in no ways takes from the fun factor, right.

My point was, Honda is introducing a $150,000 ultra-rare streetbike, and you wanted it to look just like the Honda CBR250 you see laying on its side in the local community college parking lot. :p

All those variations on the Honda tricolor look really good, so many graphics schemes carried those colors. Hard to pick just one.

I do like the factory replicas though, like the Rothman's streetbikes, and the Repsol replicas too.

That's Colin Edwards old team boss Neil Tuxworth on the right, a cool cat.

From the side, this RCV1000's lower fairing looks like a Japanese flag for some reason. :p

I think you know a CBR250 isn't a modern motogp bike? Here's a tip, one doesn't have blinkys and the other one does. But I not telling you which is which, you gonna have to figure that out on your own, you can do it I know you can.

So, when does Honda's GP technology (electronics) filter down to normal street bikes again? Their GP electronics are such an important link with their consumer road bikes after all...

The V-four CBR1000 inline for 2017 will finally have Honda jumping into the high-performance electronics mix. :p
