Had a couple friends over last night, one with a 600rr the other with an R1, put the 600 in my garage to swap the oil, R1 on the street. Finish the oil, come inside start to watch a movie and some punk kids come through my neighborhood hop out of the car and TIP THE R1!!! WTF!!!! Luckily my fiance saw them do it, and alerted us to what was going on (with an epic southpark esque YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!! shouted off our balcony) my neighborhood has only one exit, (SUCKERS!!!!!!!) I caught up with them (in my truck) got the Lic#, then lost them as they started doing approx 60-70 through residential streets so I backed off. Happy ending...The owner of the R1 found them and the car later that night, the kids (1X18Y.O. Female, 3X16Y.O. Males)got to see the inside of the Davis PD station.
But seriously, who the hell tips bikes for "fun"

Glad you got the little punks. I have some near me that like to walk around my bike and actually tried to sit on it one day. I had a little "talking to" with them and I think I got my point accross but still make me nervous.

I would have tried to be cool with them. Start shootin the shit, and hope they gained some respect for the bike. Now they may just have it out for ya. I hope not though. I fucking HATE people that mess with other peoples stuff.

Dude that sucks. Good to hear the police took them to jail, hopefully the parents left them there to rot for a long while. Are the parents going to pay for the repairs?

I caught some guys in the middle of stealing my bike a few years ago (there's a thread in here somewhere about it), glad someone witnessed your crime so that you could get some... peace of mind I guess out of the whole deal.

So tonight I skiped the gym and went over to Larry's to hang out ect. Were about to start a movie at 10:45PM when all of a sudden we hear someone screaming hey you fing bastards get back here and some kids laughing. My bike is out front (2005 R1 those who know me know the condition it looks new). So we jump up to see if theres a fight going on only to figure out its Francesca screaming at the kids who just tipped my bike over. First I thought it was stolen and was like hell yeah ducati here i come then I see it on the ground. Larry & Francesca jump in cars give chase Larry comes up epic finds them trying to leave the area gives chases but loses them but not before id's license plates ect. Only one way in and out of Larry's neighborhood bad move for them. Cops are called for first hit and run say they ran the car plate comes back to a girl ect. See what we can do ect ect. Larry knows the area they went to so I have a good idea of where to look for a car. Cops are trying to be helpful but they are limited which is understandable but I got nothing but time. And now a bill for 1k.

The following are steps to make sure your not going to have to pay that 1k

Step 1: Go home realize dammit I have to pay 1k deduct bike is fucked im gonna take it up the a@$# because of some punk kids.

Step 2: Grab your favorite baseball bat(-5, 32inch for me) and go for a little drive.

Step 3: Go by glacier apts nothing spent like 30 mins looking over complex

Step4: Go down the street to the local pool and cruise the neighborhood while calling in your insurance claim

Step5: Tell the person on the phone holly shit i think i just found the car. Realize the car parked in the pool is the car your looking for and the kids are coming out of the pool that is closed (1 girl driver, 1 guy)

Step 6: Pull in fast and slam on the brakes blocking in the car. At the same time get your crazy face on jump out with your baseball bat run up to them and say "You remember me motherfuckers, you knocked over my fucking bike, and now your gonna pay" Hit bat on cement kids start to run away fast girl is stupid stays like who are you ect ect. Then decides your crazy and runs into the dark park like her friends

Step 7: Call the cops tell them you found the car get there quick. Meanwhile keep screaming your going to blank some shit up hit the cement with the bat over and over pacing the parking lot where you car is running blocking their car in. Tell them to come out or I'm going to fucking find you one by one. I see you running around out there. Something is going to pay you messed with the wrong crazy motherfucker tonight. Guy on dispatch was freaking out telling me not to hurt people ect.

Step 8: Cops come yell at me for having the bat out. Find girl in the grass crying not knowing what to do. Tell her shes going to jail unless her friends get back soon. They all end up telling on one guy. He is reached on cell phone and told to come back. Other 3 ran all the way down to umall I don't blame them far run from community poll though cops talk to them on the phone go pick them up.

Step 9: All witness statements taking everything going on one kid all but the driver are minors. (Guess who's parents are going to small claims court soon) We spent about an hour out there while we find these kids cops talk to them let them know they are not welcome to come to Davis and fuck shit up. Reports taken all parents are called and told what their pos kids are doing at 11pm at night.


Davis PD guys were very helpful. Thanks to them. They were big time on my side and did a good job organizing stuff ect. Finding out who was responsible. One thought the bike was new and was like thats fucked up.
Larry Francesca and Sam couldn't have done it with out them. Big thank you. Anyone going over to Larry's park in his yard haha.

So blinker broke, rear fairing fucked up and scratched, mirror messed up, lower fairing messed up, side fairing messed up, bar end broke, frame slider, spool slider, gas tank scratched, clutch cover dented/scratched, rear set bent, sure there is more

My bike was sitting there minding its own business when someone decided to push it over. LAME !!!!

No sure what insurance will do with it. Any ideas. I had a 1k deduct but now since I found the person and the police handled it hopefully I will be able to go after the parents and get my money for that. Maybe figure out if it will effect my rates and add that to the bill. (Of course as it stands the car that was involved is listed as a hit and run by my claim :O) someone is going to pay)

For once with all this bs with people tipping bikes and stealing stuff people are found and scared shit less as a result. Hopefully they have to pay for what they did. Kid was arrested but minors not much happens to them. One even had the nerve to ask why it was a big deal ect. Cop flipped on him told him you fucked up his bike you know how much thats gonna cost him. The thing is all scratched up ect now.

Statefarm is going to go after the parents I have to front the 1K deduct but once the info is released they are going to pursue them for my deduct plus the amount its going to cost them since its a criminal case and an arrest for made

Time for an estimate we'll see how that goes of course... sad part it kinda messed up a lot of stuff.

Hope fully the insurance company gives you a good amount so you can get some extra goodies as well as getting the bike back to is original condition. thats what happened to me when someone knocked over my monster...car hit it while parked,almost punched out the boyfriend of the driver who was trying to blame me for her shitty driving.
