I was always disappointed in Steward's race-craft. He didn't seem to know how to set himself up for a win. It was just WFO all the time. He had the speed but didn't know how to dial it back just enough for the win.
I thought this year he would pull it together, I kinda turned into a fan. On his TV show it looked like he was working hard even though he had a lot of distractions. At Anaheim 2 he was picture perfect (I was there). I think the hard work needs to be rewarded but then the arrest happened. Oh boy, that's not good. It's not the end of the world and maybe a bonehead move but something was/is keeping him from being the dominant rider. We'll see how the season finishes, time will tell.
 
I personally think Stewart has done what he wanted to do in the sport and no longer feels the need to be the most dedicated rider on the track. There has already been talk of him possible getting into Nascar and his injuries the last few years have not helped his motocross career. I just don't think we will see the same James we saw in the years past.
 
The real question, is how many people did they pull over and yell at before they picked a couple of off-duty LEOs. Or was their luck just incredibly bad?

I am not going to crucify the young man over it. I enjoy watching the pure riding talent and I am in no hurry to hear an X girlfriend school us on the size of his balls. :shocker

I just get visions of bored KIDS cracking up ,shining a light -as opposed to doing alot worse that he(or they w/James bank)could afford to do as far as being scandelous.Seems to me a whole tatood,peirced ,hardcore never been in 3 fight ass look is so reveered by this younger set-but people that actually have game like PRINCE JAMES are held to a different standard.Badass is more than looks people.
