Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka has been charged with murder.

Case was reopened recently after some investigating reports and s book published suggesting he was more involved than thought

Yay. $350,000 in court fees to incarcerate a 72 year old dying of stomach cancer for $250,000 a year until he croaks. Fucking annoying.

If he did murder someone he needs to be held accountable no matter the circumstances, at least IMO

Irv Muchnick got the ball rolling by publishing the ebook "Justice Denied - The Untold Story of Nancy Argentino’s Death in Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka’s Motel Room" in May 2013, where he detailed the inconsistencies in Snuka's autobiographical account of the incident compared with other stories he told at the time of the original investigation.

This was followed a month later by a local investigative newspaper report by the Allentown Morning Call, which saw the public release of both Argentino's autopsy and a transcript of Jimmy Snuka's police interview that was taken the day after her death. Both documents backed up Muchnick's assertion that William Platt, the District Attorney at the time, had exercised his discretion poorly by failing to indict Snuka for involuntary manslaughter.

This led to James B. Martin, the DA of Lehigh County, to take a fresh look at the case. Initially sceptical that the case review would throw up any new evidence that would lead to the need for a grand jury investigation, Martin would change his mind after the review was completed six months later and opened up such an investigation in late January 2014.

The results of the grand jury investigation were announced earlier today at a local press conference and the decision was to indict Jimmy Snuka for third degree murder and involuntary manslaughter over the 1983 death of Nancy Argentino. A copy of the official press release was published by Irv Muchnick's Concussion Inc. website shortly thereafter:

Bah, it is a fucking publicity stunt that is going to cost half a million in tax dollars.
