Johndicezx9's - 2024 New Bikes, inc Updates & BNG's

Look forward to it. Hope I am wearing my matching MC Hammer pants when I do. :p

Remember the Benelli Tornado?

This ain't it, but the name is... the original was a 900cc triple. This one is a 500cc twin. Still, kinda stylish.

Sur Ron has the new Arctic Lepord a bit more than the $5k average price of these things but has a 21' front wheel as opposed to the 19'" on most of the others

Storm-Bee-Studio-RIGHT-2000x1334.jpg

That is a Sur Ron Storm Bee and I have yet to see one IRL. It's nice but it is heavy 280lbs similar to the Alta. But I guess you can swap the battery on it.

Sur Ron also has the Ultra Bee if I had the monies I would buy one and mod it for racing but I dumped so much money into the Light Bee

CFMoto 450MT they pretty much put the 450SS engine in an ADV format

Speaking of CFMoto looks like they are developing an electric dirtbike. I am very impressed with the CFMoto bikes I got to demo a couple at Laguna Seca Moto America.

I believe Meandad has a CF Moto ADV.

Triumph announces the rumored Daytona 660. Based on the Trident/Tiger 660 platform, this sport-standard has more power, better brakes, and a slightly different frame and even sportier geometry than the other 660 offerings. Competes with the Yamah R7, Aprilia 660, Suzuki GSX-8R

The formula of using a successful middleweight engine platform in several styles of bikes has been very profitable for Yamaha which has caused Kawasaki, Aprilia, Suzuki, and now Triumph to follow suit.

I think its a good looking bike. People are having fits over the use of the Daytona name (rather than, say, Sprint) but they will have to get over it or join the R7 haters over in the corner. :teeth

I'm moving to Austin and not taking my Honda AT (hopefully I can sell it to a BARF'er). But, in Texas, I will be looking for some wheels. I am leaning toward a streetfighter, cruiser, or some kind of standard. Really digging the big 4 sport standards (CB, Katana, MT-10 and Z900). I'm only looking at liter bikes right now - that is until I throw a leg over a middleweight I like. In terms of looks, I love the Katana, but I have yet to throw a leg over any of these.

Whats Your Price point Dion?

Whats Your Price point Dion?

For a new bike, or selling my AT?

I'm not sure if I'm going to go 2024, or 2023, depending on the price, and I'll probably finance the new bike. Unless I find something awesome in Texas on the used market. I suuuuuure like that Katana...

Checked out some new rides yesterday

It was like a dirt bike when the suspension drops 3” just from sitting on it.
Pretty sure it used up most of its travel just standing still.

Yeah, most of the stock spring rates are too soft in the front and too hard in the rear...must be: Americans.

Fixed. Because slow is universal. :x
