<sarcasm> This thread is a blatant cry for attention and the people posting here should work on developing self-esteem instead of developing better poses. What's next, putting your avatar on your bike so people recognize you on the track?
:p
...Oh, and here are my pics:
</sarcasm>
:laughing Looking hot out there Vic!

Okay, I don't have an action shot yet, but I touched knee for the first time at Reno Fernley yesterday. Felt it scrape, went "eek" and tucked it back up and carried on. Touched again a few more times here and there before I got too tired. I'll post Joe's action shots later, but here's my evidence for now:

Ya, I didnt think I was that close, fortunatly it's one of those roads in the middle of nowhere with almost 0 traffic.

Sounds like a road I should know about. Care to share? :teeth

Wentworth Springs Rd out of Georgetown in El Dorado county. It's a beautiful ride. The road has some good twisties and was repaved recently so it is super smooth. It's like the road was made for bikes, the corners are almost perfectly banked, it's just a really fun road.

i'd never post a pic of myself like this no matter how cool it looks to some it's not. it just goes to show what people will do when a camera is around, tryn' to look their best......in public :laughing

*shrugs* I never said it was a smart pic. Also I don't care what you think.

So from what it sounds like, you've never made a mistake riding? My mistake just happened to be caught on film. I never said it was right for me to be like that. I've learned from my mistakes. When I was going around that corner I didnt think I was that close to the DY, after I saw that pic I've made damn sure to stay away from the DY.

I think we all make mistakes sometimes from time to time when we go riding.

I think Reality98 admitted that he made a mistake when he went over the DY.

I think we can learn from the picture (or other people's mistakes) and adjust your line so you don't find yourself in a situation like this.

Just my two cents.

i too I agree completly, but when your trying to showoff on a public roadway for a camera, well that's another story.

it's pictures like this that make the rest of us folks look bad in the eyes of the public. i've been riding the street for 25yrs, and my dad made sure that i was safe and skilled from the start.

now a day's, a busboy who can make a $49/month payment on new 600 sportbike, AND is not is not required by the lender to have insurance on it is beyond me.....

2nd'ly, most of them have little to no instruction or skill to be on one in the 1st place and then see a picture such as yours and then go out and try it.

i don't mean to be harsh, but i've seen it all to often in the last 5yrs. i was young once too, but those days are nothing like we have today. drivers mulit-tasking while driving for one, and is why i choose to work on my skills at the track and not on the streets.

peace out
