KTM 690 Supermoto in the US?

Oh you FRICKING bastard! Smart man to load it up with all the sliders. I figure I could have just as much fun on the Duke as I do on the MZ, save for puttin' a foot down and dumping the clutch to do a 'power u-turn'! I guess if I got really good I could just do a standing burn-out-u-turn on the Duke! :laughing

For the record, I'm also thinking about selling all the bikes for a new Triumph Tiger, but this Duke is just giving me serious wood...

OK, so as an owner of a SuperDuke AND the more motard-ish Duke II, do you think you'd miss the old KTM if you sold it? I have such a blast on the MZ doing things I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to try on the SuperDuke (urban jumps, for one) that the thought of selling it makes me sick. I just can't justify 4 bikes though, for a lot of reasons...
 
I only ever used the Duke II as a street bike - which is what it really is. It's got sportbike spec suspension, not long-travel motard type suspension. In that regard, the SuperDuke is more of an upgrade than it is a switch to a different style of bike. I bought the Duke II new seven years ago and would miss it for sentimental reasons, but the SuperDuke better serves my needs. I can give up the foot-out fun for something that has a lot more power and is usable for much longer distances. Besides, the sound of that LC8 motor at full honk gives me wood. :teeth
 
It's so F-ing badass...congrats. I keep telling myself I wouldn't miss the foot-out riding style, but I'm just not convinced yet. Perhaps it's an easy excuse to prevent me from running out and buying a new Super D. So, to that end....buzz me when you're ready to sell it! (as if) :teeth

Supermoto 950R is perfect, much better than the bloated SM 950. Different gas tank.

SuperMoto 690, looks great, feels great, but... I hate the fly-by-wire shit in it!!! Fuck!! I couldn't push it as hard as I want to like my old SM640!! Not worth the 8600 bucks!

OO, did all the demo ride at Infinieon Raceway (stupid name.. It's SEARs POINT period!)
