Lake Berryessa Fire

I was wondering about my fave farmhouse from the first post here.
I wondered about an all nite fire watch, thinking how lucky over the past years of threats.
Glad to see your results in saving everything. I never hiked to the top of the ridge, that view threw me for a bit. Time to replace the bench?

Did any of the housing in the creek survive, so overgrown, no defendable space? Bigger stuff, more open was lost, that white McMansion with plastic fence.

I don't have a sense of how big all this is yet? Vine St. Gates Cyn. Solar Hills, English hills, the prison, Travis? small separate snippets of news???

I'm due to visit in Oct, don't know if there will be any room @ the Vineyard with the fire victims.

Take care out there, PPE needs to be fireproof again.

Has anyone been up to Berryessa recently? I'm tempted to run up there & check on Cucina Italiana and other places. Today's AQI is green at 18 in Napa.
 
I believe Cucina Italiana and the deli/general store survived, which is something. Whether there will be any local customers left for them to serve...
 
Time for more BARF lunches up there, then. :thumbup
