hey me too! That combined with the broken english in the title and the vague description did it.

I actually had one of those scamming pieces of garbage use the buy-it-now on a bike I was selling on ebay, ruining my auction.

All the strange little spelling, grammatic and syntactic anomalies in those communications would put me off, even if the deal didn't sound so obviously bogus.

"I've to move"? odd enough (very unusual use of a contraction of "I have" for an american), but why would he say "I have to move" after he'd already left the country?

I really love reading these idiot's attempts at faking the english language.

Actually, I have just been appointed as fiduciary in this transaction. You can just send a check to me and I will make sure you have the bike within 7 - 10 days. :)

tell him that the pictures he sent is of your recently stolen bike, and that you've reported it to the proper authorities.

Hear nothing more from the seller. A little over a week later I see the SAME bike again for sale, only the contact email is different. Hmmm, suspicious. I send an email, and sure enough, get the SAME email, word for word, as before:

SCAM.....EMAIL HIM TO SEND YOU MONEY TO PAYPAL FOR ATTORNEY FEES, HANDLING FEES, SHIPPING, TIME FEE, ETC.....before you can continue to work with him.
