*Liam's Wild Ride*

Liam spotting...

Here's our one and only, work'n for a live'n...

and chill'n...

oh and heres the Red bull girls... showing off their can's...
while the founder of Team Drumstick is spread'n the stink

I am thinking today is one of those days that Liam and the d'Antin troops would like a do-over. Unfortunately, in the high-stakes, hardcore world that is MotoGP you have to play what you're dealt or at least make the best of it. Have a good nights sleep, Squadra... You're gonna need it.

Too bad Hodgeson was already snatched up. Would have been great to see him do a one off @ Laguna.

Update on the Hoff, from a team Press Release:

Hofmann underwent surgery yesterday afternoon following an incident in the morning free practice session in which he was caught up in a collision with Sylvain Guintoli.

After the crash, the German rider was transported by helicopter to the Surgery Centre South in San Francisco where he spent the night before returning to Monterey on Saturday morning.

The operation, carried out by Doctor Arthur J.Ting, was complex and lasted three hours, in which a metal plate and fifteen screws were required to reconstruct the broken metacarpus of Hofmann’s left hand.

Although initial estimates suggest Hofmann will require five weeks to recover from his injuries, it is hoped that he will make a return to racing action at the Czech Republic GP in Brno in mid-August.

Alex Hofmann: “This kind of break is really painful and at this moment I haven’t recovered all feeling in my hand and I don’t know exactly how much time I will need to recover completely. My physiotherapist says that I will need at least five weeks to come back one hundred percent, but the only sure thing is that I will return to action as soon as I am physically able. I am trying to be confident, but in this condition it is very difficult. Furthermore, there is the possibility that I could have some problems with infection; after the crash yesterday morning, I had to stay too long at the side of the track because the ambulance could not arrive to pick me up.”

Doctor Arthur J. Ting: “Alex has a very bad fracture and, to be able to put the screws in his hand, I had to enlarge his wound because the break wasn’t compound. Of course he will have strong pain for a long time, but in my opinion, he will start again to ride already in the next race in Brno.”

All Hail Doc Ting. He has patched up many Barfers, AFM riders, AMA and GP riders over the years that the count is staggering.

Alex H. is Not Happy:

"Sylvain should know better. He is a MotoGP rider and has to know that a move like the one he did in practice is unacceptable. Maybe you’d do it in a race, but in practice you should be turning your brain on and not off", stated Hofmann, who brought a printout of his X-rays and operation pictures to the press room.

"I’m only lucky that I didn’t put my hand in the gravel, because then it would have been a lot worse. Another thing that I am annoyed about is people saying that Chaz Davies (Hofmann’s stand-in for the race) has received a good chance. This isn’t a good opportunity, which for me would be giving the kid a three day test; he is a replacement rider, so it’s not this great chance like people say. This is nothing personal about Chaz", concluded ‘The Hoff’.

My buddy Chaz helping Liams team...

Chaz had never been to Laguna before... "I know lets put him on a MotoGP bike instead of the R6 he normally rides" :wow
