Dude, since when you're a moderator??? :laughing

Keep 'em coming, man. :)

Oh yea, I hope they have good fruit salads there. :laughing

Here's a shot of Shinya Nakano. Rough weekend for Kawasaki, and Shinya got passed by KRJR in the race, but they still showed some promise for the rest of the season. I think it was incredible how many teams/people were able to improve on Friday's times on Saturday. . . and had Stoner not brought a flu bug with him from Australia, I think he would have been right up there in the mix.

Say, now that I think about it, anyone remember seeing a giant US Flag mounted near the final corner on the race footage? If you have a screenshot, post it up! This is the first time I'd jumped the track after a race (try that in the states!), and it was as far from a free for all as you could get. I think the riders were just plain exhausted from the race and the heat, but Nicky pulled over to shake hands. Sweet!

The lizard texture look on the top of the Kawasaki is cool looking. With those 40mph winds you're lucky you didn't go flying with that big flag!!

Awesome stuff Liam!!!

Man... I love it!

:smoking

Liam,

What's the scoop on Hopkins and the Suzuki bikes? Do you have a picture of him kicking his bike in disappointment?

Mark

I bumped into this guy while I was chatting with Davide Brivio about the difficulties of learning Italian, and other things. Rossi had just finished the night riding, and after a full day of practices, he looked as tired as I felt! Naturally, the Spaniards wanted to go to some GP parties tonight, and I can totally recommend the Paloma bar in the Intercontinental Hotel. Do not waste your time at the Rydges Hotel. I'm bushed, see you guys later. If I have a connection, maybe I'll post live from the track, schedule permitting.

Saw it when I went over my TIVO. I knew it was you Liam. I saw those soccer shoes & that huge RWB flag and I knew. Your awesome dude!!! Hey if you watch the motogp DVD 2005, at the very end of the Shanghi race where Rossi, is sprayin' the da party drink @ da crowd you can see in the grandstands an American flag dat Eden got us. Your standin' beside it. And Alex & I are beside his Brazilian flag. It's small but, you can see it. Keep up the good work buddy!!!

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTT!

Liam, care to tell us more about the night riding scene? It sounds like the racers are not against the idea. As a fan, I certainly like it. Will we see night race in, say, 2008?

Hi Everyone,

I know there have been a lot of posts from you guys and I haven't been able to spend time answering everyone's questions the last couple days. Upon returning home from the Middle East, I got really sick for the past two days, and haven't been able to do much of anything. The free time I have had has been used to try and line something else up for the coming weeks, hopefully something good! I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm around, and I appreciate all your input. I especially liked the screenshots of me and the flag because I got to say, "Hey! That's me!", :laughing. When I'm feeling better and have more time to concentrate, I'll be sure to provide a great write-up/review of the happennings in Qatar and the GP scene in general. Also, I'm trying to get together with Bob Hayes from www.MotoGPod.com , so you can also hear some of what I have to say about things this Friday. More to come, and thanks.

I should be getting ready for my new job today, but I'm glued to your thread and amazing photos. Maybe you can moonlight as a pro-photog. Nicky with the brake peg sparks is my new desktop wallpaper. Keep up the great work.

Hi Liam

It was't just the racing that blew you away at the weekend eh?

Without wanting to sound like a kiss **s i too have been completly impressed with the way your photography has improved. It just goes to show that if you like your subject enough to want to do it proud and are willing to amend the way you are doing it you can move mountains.

I was kind of edgy during the race as to weather Vale would be able to turn it on but the Doctor was in Surgery thank goodness.

Its one thing wanting the opposition to take their game to him but quite another when they might actually beat him! I was truly worried.

Whilst I can understand Hoppers frustration at a wasted weekend I hope the foot is intact as it'll be a little hard to say to the boss it's painful when hes had to replace the fairing as well as a truck load of oil spraying devices!

I was deeply impressed with Nikkys ride. I think it beats his Laguna Performance of last year, Yes I know he came second but the conditions were abysmll and he kept his iron in the fire well done.

Hope U R well now, all the best Fat's P.S. What lens are you using?
