This thread is a yawner. So much psycho anger in the bay area anymore i swear something is in the air. This morning i'm driving my Ranger instead of my bike for a change, westbound on 580 between Dublin and Castro Valley in the left hand lane coming up on slow moving traffic and I watch in amazement about 6 vehicles in front of me, the guy who was directly behind what would prove to be the slow moving car in the left hand lane.
Amazingly this suv driver [ofcourse], behind the slower driver, on 580 west btw, attempts to pass on the shoulder on the left, right below bart lines right? Fucking idiot smashed his mirror and tried a second time to pass on the left hand shoulder, couldn't quite do it though as more debris came flying off.
So at this point the slow moving car gets over a lane and I see a female stick her arm out and gesture to the dude, which just pissed the maniac off all the more, middle of traffic he tries to sideswipe her, she jerks over, luckily nobody in the lane there and slows WAY down, but fuckhead was having none of it.
The maniac lurches over and into her lane, barely missing another vehicle and slams on his brakes, hard. I couldn't believe the shit so at that point, the female slowed down even more and moved all the way to the right hand lane. Psycho dick got immediately in front of her and slowed down to get just in front of her. I guess he wanted vengence?
At that point I pulled up right alongside him and looked over at the dumbass and matched his speed, had to slow down to below speed limit at that point, but I repeated his license over and over and just let him know that I witnessed the whole thing. Asshat pulled out quickly at this point in C.V. and watched the girl in the car continue west on 580, unharmed but obviously scared shitless.
My point is this dick tried to hurt her and he didn't care who else might also have been damaged in the assault. I say people need to chill and maybe the dude on the bike doesn't realise he is upsetting your personal space? Is it really worth the mayhem? Somethings in the air I think, or the water?
