Does anyone know if the Logitech Harmony One will control an XBOX360 and PS3? Specifically, I want it to control the Netflix app on XBOX360, and DVD playback on PS3.

Logitech also makes an XBOX360 specific remote, would that be a better option? http://reviews.cnet.com/remote-cont...0_7-31599239.html?tag=contentMain;contentBody

We use XBOX360 for Netflix a lot. The PS3 is coming in about 6 months, at the next price drop (why buy a blue-ray player, KWIM?)

Any advice is appreciated. I can wait if I have to, I just would prefer not to.

If it helps, needs to control AV Receiver/TV/Cable Box/XBOX360/PS3

You'll need an adapter for the PS3 as there is no IR port. I use the PS3IR-PRO from http://www.schmartstuff.com/ because I wanted to be able to turn on the PS3 with my Harmony. But if that isn't important then the PS3IRX1 will work just fine.

I could try the 360 later (gota get it from storage and hook it up) I know it controls 360, I've just never used it for Netflix.

And yes, I love my Harmony One (though it is a little power thirsty) My 880 doesn't drain as much juice, but I didn't like the layout and will be selling it.

I have both the Xbox remote and a Harmony 880. The xbox remote sits in the box, there's nothing the logitech remote can't do that it does. I would upgrade it if Logitech ever decided to provide a bluetooth enabled remote, but they have no plans to do so it seems. :(

I have the 880 .. Ya you need an adapter for the PS3.. i like it.. it just getting use to it takes time and also setting it up. Im too lazy to have to hook it up to my room computer and go to the living room everytime i want to verify and come back to my room to make a change.

I have the Harmony One with the older IR2BT adaptor, everything on the 360/PS3 (don't have netflix though) works like a charm.

According to all the A/V forums the ir2bt is the only adapter worth a damn.

The logitech/harmony software will control everything you need for the 360 and other av equipment. And as stated, the PS3 needs an adapter. I read the $20 Nyko IR remote works relatively well under the Logitech program.

All of the Logitech remotes will function the same. It is just up to your preference in terms of looks and button placement.

I use my Logitech remotes to navigate my 360 all the time. All of the buttons work well in the Media Center app, the video/music app, and the netflix app. It also works well navigating though the NXE.
