Whee!
The previous owner of my motorcycle had a fall and broke the radiator mounting tab. He repaired it using some kind of black moldable epoxy/glue. There is a big glob of it around the bracket that clearly looks formed by some fingers, possibly in a roadside repair situation.

I am completely blown away. This stuff is still holding strong all these years later. It has held for almost 50,000 miles without breaking. It's slightly flexible, and stuck extremely well to the aluminum radiator.

Does anyone have a clue what it could be? I want to use some on another project.

Sounds like Sugru. Never used it myself but a friend showed me a repair with it and that sounds exactly like what i saw.

Maybe this stuff ? it remains flexible

Sugru would also be my first guess based on the repair being flexible. It's also easy to carry a few packets with you for side of the road repairs.

Alternatively the previous owner might have used flexible Devcon for the repair. I swear by their aluminum putty for strong long lasting repairs when welding is not possible. It can be drilled and tapped and handles high temps without breaking down.

Repair it properly and have a radiator specialist weld a new tab in place. Didn’t do a Mickey Mouse repair again.

Nonsense.
That's what zip ties, duct tape and JB Weld are for. :laughing
