The booster that fell over was on its 23rd mission, a record. Holy crap that’s a lot of reuse. Maybe SpaceX found the repeated stress limit for their landing legs.

The Boeing saga is giving me more than just a bit of schadenfreude. I hope the company see more than just financial consequences.

That would mean changes at the top...and while they may replace the CEO, if the others are still there the culture won't change, especially if the board remains the same with their same priorities of maximize profit by minimizing costs.

The shareholders should vote them out. This whole mess should hurt sales and share value. They are down 32% YTD. In the end, this attempt to maximize has failed in the long run (assuming share value goes down). It's illegal to NOT do what's best for the shareholders. So the whole C-level should be gone.

Serious thought - i wonder what of anything we could/do make 8B in a few months. Billion is A LOT more than Million. Making 8B yards of monkey suit fabric seems near impossible. Sewing them, probably even closer to impossible. Distributing them with 8B shipping labels, no chance.

Looks like Budweiser makes 11B beers annually.
