Loudest/Growliest 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650R exhaust

If D&D makes a pipe for it, that's probably your best bet.

I bought my RC51 used, and it had D&Ds on it. Between the noise of those pipes and my Shoei RF-1100, my ears ring after riding, even with the best earplugs. It really puts lead in your pencil to wind it out past 10k, though. I really do try to keep things tame in residential, and no doubt, the fuzz can hear me coming if I'm getting enthusiastic.

The D&Ds came in real handy getting even with my asshole neighbor. The fukin d-bag called the purple meanies to shut down my dad's 60th party at 7pm on a saturday, due to noise. I was pissed man, almost spent the night in Rita. So I decided that I needed to properly warm up the RC for 5 min at full choke(yes, it's a FI bike that has a choke) every morning at 4:30 AM before leaving for work. I made a new parking spot right next to his bedroom window, and made sure the pipes pointed in his general direction. A couple months later, HE WAS GONE!

Why do you hate motorcycling?

Focus n the question being asked, ! So what if he wants the loudest meanest exhaust, thats his choice not yours. Keep looking on that exhaust bro.

Best answer so far.....man this thread was a huge failure. Lot of people with meaningful input and legitimate concerns, but a whole lotta haters and just simple A$$*****

In conclusion from me, to those who put in meaningful input, i thank you :hail, to those who gave great fatherly (or motherly) advice, i thank you too :hail and to the haters who are so concerned about their image and the image of the motorcycling community without regard for the diversity that exists within it, well.....:twofinger

well said, faisalwrf6, I know what you want is just more exhaust tone. not like you want harleys exhaust growl. I hope you get the good advice from here .. theres a lot jerks in here .

fixed that for you.

what ever happened to just cliping a poker card in your spokes if you wanted your bike to sound cool?

:thumbup That was so cool, back in the day. And you could simply increase power by adding cards.

I absolutely love my Two brothers Exhaust with my twin, it has saved me a couple times from drivers about to make left turn infront of me, for instance saturday on the way home from Redwood road in castro valley a car was leaving tacobell trying to cross all lanes to make a left toward castro valley blvd he was about to pull out and gas'd it then stopped real hard before he even seen me then waved as i passed by.

Technically, on a carbed bike it's a fuel enrichment circuit, not a choke.

On a FI bike, it's just a fast idle lever. Lots of early FI bikes had them. 1100 and 1150 series BMW R bikes had a fast idle lever. So do the retro triumphs. All it really does is hold the throttle open a little.

I am well aware of how it works on this bike, as well as carbed ones, I was using normal parlance, as I didn't want to confuse anyone by being an annoying pedant. If someone says uses the term "gas pedal", do you correct them, since the pedal actually controls the amount of air permitted to enter the engine? Probably not.

Would you have pointed out my error had I been referring to my old 1978 GS550, which just dumps in extra fuel, rather than actually achieving enrichment by restricting the air? Probably not, and BTW-some carbed bikes do have a choke plate.

Perhaps your criticism should be directed more appropriately at Honda Motor Corp., who printed the symbol historically used on chokes on the "fast idle lever":

And in the service manual, where the "fast idle" system is referred to as a Choke:

Wow, looks like Kyle touched a nerve. :laughing

Just pointing out how exhausting it can be to be uberfukinspecific and precise.

Internet forums are for people to point out any possible thing they think is wrong posts to make themselves feel better, dontchaknow? :twofinger

I actually chuckled at your reply to the correction, it was a good reply. :laughing

Don't agree with the whole neighbor thing though.
