OK, so I've been trying to let it go but it's the second time this has happened this week and I'm still chafing
Guys on liter bikes are not necessarily better or more experienced riders than girls on 600s.
I don't think this is a gender issue but why have I been cut off not once but twice this week on the BB by GXSR1000s. No they aren't faster, they cut me off! I shake my bike they don't pull to the side I wind up having to go around them. Usually go to lane 2 or 3 then get ahead and continue on my merry way.I am not overtaking them these bikes are coming over from the far right carpool lane to the left side of the bridge and cut right in front of me.
Does a GXSR 1000 have built in right of way or something?
Please advise

I think the problem is between the seat and the handlbars, not so much that type of bike.
Experience has shown that eejits never ride for long, and that they always donate parts at some point in time.

Sorry, she was in my way. :p

THAT"S FALSE! I had to slam on my brakes not to run into your ass as you swept into my path!
BTW it wasn't Jeff.

No one has the right to cut off some one else. It just pisses of the person that got cut off. This is how road rage happens. Road rage can sometime end undesireably. Good job keeping a your cool in this situation.

Like Moto-Rama said, "Experience has shown that eejits never ride for long, and that they always donate parts at some point in time"

Johnparjr: Any girl who rides is hot.

Happy Hornet: Honestly, I think it comes from the bike.

In my opinion, many of the guys who ride 1000 do so because they need to believe they have the biggest, baddest bike out there. They feel like they should be the fastest riders due to their machines, and letting someone else be in front of them creates a bit of a dissonance with their image of being the fastest thing on 2 wheels.

After all, if you can't pass a 600 with "the best bike on the market," wouldn't it cause you to question your ability as a rider? I doubt many of these guys realize how important the meat part of the rider/machine relationship really is.

Most of the fast guys I've met on sport bikes ride 600s and 750s. They realize that the extra weight and expense of a liter bike is pointless for the kind of spirited riding they do. Those riders who would appreciate the torque and convenience of a liter bike power band usually end up buying more sensible machines such as the bandit or FZ1.

This is all of course, very generalized commentary and there are very real exceptions. But, in my experience, few serious, professionalist street riders own liter bikes.

I cut someone off the other day while riding a 600rr. I can be jerk on a small bike and a big bike. I hate to generalize about gixxer riders...but yeah... Maybe it's because they are so popular that you have a higher chance of running into those riders on those bikes.

did the rider look back when changing lanes?
did the rider look in mirrors when changing lanes?
did the riders elbows block the mirrors?
did the bloody bike have any mirrors at all?

betcha those riders didn't even look for another rider, just like most cagers, they were just lookin' for cars.

yes were are invisible to even our own.

It's very complex Happy Hornet.

The getting through the conjestion in high density Bay Area traffic is an exercise in combative moves.

Riding a Sport bike promotes a certain enhancement there.

Riding an Alfa Dog Sport bike, enhances the ability to be a bit belligerent about it.

Power corrupts.

Absolute Power corrupts, absolutely.

(Friday promises to be a great day on Ebbetts pass, very mello :ride and free of bad vibes :cool
