You know, I'm a pretty patient cat. I don't really get emotional about much, I never got bad touched, nor did any of my siblings, but when a Sex with a child under 10 charge is on the table, I feel like a calm copper jacket is the only solution.

I feel that the global soft response to this particular crime is a particularly unfortunate statement about the perverse corruption of human power structures.

Somewhat agree, but probably from a less punitive position. When life is already hard for people and with such a surplus of people, maybe we don't need to try so hard to keep people alive who harm others. Problem is that we're so bad at things that lowering the standards for the death penalty would result in plenty of innocent killings and I loathe injustice just as much as pedo's.
