May-24th THURSDAY Fremont Meet

I think that could possibly be a good idea, iehawk. Lol, I would think just about any of his ideas r good 1's since he's one of the originals at the Fremont meet. Also, the burnouts and everything are cool to watch/do, but if there's too many tire marks on the ground, then that might attract unwanted attention and we might have to move our spot. Plus, da new spot is by Tapioca place and that place rocks! :p

Any one mind if a newbie joins ya?

TRUE THAT KRISTI, i guess burning out in a public shopping center makes me them feel manly :laughing

Can't make up my mind. Alameda or Fremont? Fremont or Alameda? In SoCal we get several hundred bikes showing up in weather this good. How many bikes are probably gonna show??

Just curious...

I haven't been to the meet for a while, but I recalled the last time I stopped by it was so packed now with PF Chang being there.

Anyone ever thought of moving it maybe more toward Ohana and Jamba Juice? Maybe somewhere in the middle by Old Navy? Or even across the street by Styx and Tapioca Express?

That way everyone can be together in one big parking formation without having to worry about being too close to other cars. :)
Hey Al.

PF Chang's sucks. Since they opened, there have been very few open parking stalls for bikes that don't fit in that little walkway. Plus they call the cops if anyone parks on the sidewalk near their building.

I saw your SV for sale in the classifieds. Did you buy a "replacement" yet?

I'll be there. What do we got lined up for eat's?

Per Ro's new rules, he who brings it up must come up with the final decision unless there's a mutual agreement by those in attendance. The earlier you show up, the easier it is to come up with a decision. :teeth

If you want my opinion, NOT PF Chang's. :twofinger

How about La Piñata? (Take that Derrick! :p)

ya wingstop sounds coo..

move the meet.. why!? lack of space? even if there is lack of space i see all the bikes that go fit one way or another. I could however understand that during the summer you can move to jambaa juice and during the cold season to starbucks.

Plus because the space is small or now we have to work harder for spaces that doesnt stop anyone from showing up.

I dont think ive seen a post "im not giong cuz its too crowded", "im not going because there are tire marks on the floor" .. if anything those are reasons why people are showing.

:flame fackin newbs..!!!!!

jk :p :laughing

but you do have to be sodomized by The RO....:p

as for moving the meet...i was pretty pissed when they opened up PF Changs and i remember back before they were building it, we had so much space...now its pretty much conflicting...if we move the meet, better give the new location before people get lost and whatnot...and +1 to the idea about moving locations due to the seasons...that sounds cool...

bigninja...one of the largest meets we had so far was about 80+ i think...hell..i dont remember much since finals and :smoking :p

but looks like we have a shiteload of new folks so its gonna go up once summer hits full force...

I might make an appearance this week, not sure might take a week off because I've been working so much and might feel like being lazy on my day off.

I was referring to different Al, who used to ride a copper SVs. But I haven't seen him in a while.

Kristi U know u'd be doing all that shit if you had a bike and could :laughing

It's a motorcycle meet not a church meet but if you don't want any unwanted attention then we should:

-Stop parking in the pedestrian walkway
-Stop doing hot laps around that section of the parking lot reving the bikes like crazy
-Stop loitering around the starbucks area
-Stop doing burnouts
-Oh and stop **TRYING** to do wheelies in front of starbucks. I guess that also makes people feel "manly" :laughing

A big group of bikes loitering a parking lot will inherently provoke wanted and unwanted attention. I say we move the meet to Milpitas, people are a lot friendlier over there. :angel

Good idea #2 lets not move to Milipitas people from there are too grabby ass.

Im not coming to the meet this week because there are too many tire marks on the floor and also its too crowded for me.

STOP telling people to stop doing things I guess it just makes you all feel manly ....... :laughing

lol, Rob, heck yes I be doing that stuff once I have my own bike, but I'll choose where I do it wisely. But, hey, I understand for all y'alls that slip up and can't help but do it at the meet every once in awhile. ;) :laughing

I think the FREMONT meet should stay in Fremont, though. As for switching parking lots with the season..I think that sounds like a really good idea. More space for more bikes across the street in the summer time, and the same good 'ol spot in the winter for when less people show, by the Starbucks.

The Fremont meets keep on growing..a few weeks ago it was bigger (in only the spring to keep in mind) than I've ever seen it before in the summer. I love it when the meets are big, and that's not going to stop me from coming just cuz it's "too crowded".<--Sorriest reason not to come if you tell me.
