If McD is on Doordash I might get one just because.

I ain't riding their to get one.

Maybe for lunch then tomorrow. Already got dinner for tonight. :p

I don't want the whole meal though and I'd feel like an ass making someone deliver one sandwich. :laughing

I'd probably eat 1, maybe 1 and 1/2 and the rest would be a brick by the next time I'm hungry.

P.S. On a sort of but not too related topic I looked up some information recently about why In n Out isn't on DoorDash since I was craving it at the time and couldn't find it anywhere. The articles I pulled up were quite interesting about how the back and forth went down.

Actually, as much as it pains me to say this, you could leave the other two out for a few days and they'd very likely still be soft. Just nuke em real quick and you're good to go.

Actually, I retract my previous statement. My area has tons of Dashers and tons of people making orders. It would only be like 15 minutes out of their time, even for 1 sandwich. And I'd tip them high.

There's also the fact it would be left on my porch and I don't have to look them in the eye so they can see my shame.

I'm looking at the options on the app.

There's one for no McRib meat. So what the hell am I ordering then? A bun with some BBQ sauce, a pickle and onions on it? :laughing

I'm completely on board with In-n-Out opting out of this.

IMHO, Freshness is very important to the In-n-Out experience. Once the burgers leave the grill and the french fries the fryer, a very short clock starts ticking.

When I get In-n-Out to go, I'm very specific and pedantic, and they are very accomodating on the packaging, etc. And, it mostly works.

But it's better there at the store (or the parking lot, since I had it just the other day and my wife and I simply ate in the parking lot).

Similarly, I really like Round Table Pizza, but I don't care much for it delivered. It, too, has to hot and fresh out of the oven for me. I haven't had it in months, and I've been jonesing for a King Arthur Supreme for some time.

I understood completely about the importance of the freshness with In n Out in this situation. As a work from home person and chronic delivery service app fiend, I wish I could just get some delivered to my door.

It's still hard to wrap my brain around it a bit though. Their concern is freshness but with their drive-through lines always backed up, what's the difference between somebody picking up an order and delivering it over someone picking it up in the drive through to bring home?
