Buddy of mine has a black Muscle and it is such a sweet bike. I believe he has mid controls on his. He traded a CBR1000RR in on it and couldn't be happier.

He grew up and got over sprotbiles, too.

If your GF wants to ride a Harley, checkout the Dyna models. These can be configured for two up comfort a lot better than the Harleys you picked.

Personally if I were to get another Harley for around town cruising, I'd get the Muscle.

My own suggestion, though, is the Victory Hammer 8-Ball:

If you must have a Harley, only a Harley will do. However, there is a series of videos on youtube of Victory vs Harley that might interest you. Some of the motor differences look major, although it is from the Victory perspective. Enjoy...

With a Harley you are stuck to crusin' the streets. With a big ktm, BMW, ducati adventure bike the 2 of you can run the streets and head out that dirt road to the top of a mountain to watch the sunset and hang out under the stars. Not sure if you ride in the rain but if so there's another plus to an adventure bike. As for your passenger... When I see passengers on harleys they are always in a hunch back position unless the bike has apehangers. The passenger on an adventure bike sits more like a passenger on a goldwing.

Ducati Multistrada is all the bike you'll ever need. :x

Trust me on this. :teeth

:thumbup That's the thing..Only the prospective buyer knows what kind of riding they are looking for.. to justify the outlay of money ..of having a bike.

The roaring majority of Harley riders confine themselves to roads that are a snooze .. in flat and straightsville.

There are Harley models that can actually turn corners, and carry a passenger,
on a seat that wasn't designed by some guy, making alimony payments, though.

Bottom line, buyer make up your own mind...Ya will anyway. :thumbup

I believe those are called "Buells."

:laughing

My 1990 FXR Sport Convertible
(after installing 1/2" longer Works Performance shocks and Performance Machine Brakes and Spun Aluminum Wheels). Danced the Dance...

My Buell was OK as well...But the FXR could carry the steam to a higher speed.

Just in case there are those that don't know...Eric Buell designed the FXR.

He was a design Engineer for Harley...And then..Took off on his own, to make his own bike..The Buell.

You ain't shit if you pick a Harley over a.....
Turbo busa!!! :rofl:twofinger

Go full Old Man and get an Ultra Glide with the touring pack, Rob.

I do like the Street Glide if I was gonna go for a bagger. But those full dressers are just not my speed...yet.

I voted neither, have you checked out the Victory cruisers Rob?

I'm about to. Everytime I see a new Victory on the road, they do look pretty slick. Like a lot of billet looking stuff that would be all add on stuff from H-D. That picture of that blacked out Victory Hammer is pretty sweet. And I watched the video (albeit skewed) comparison video and a few more. So I'm gonna check out their range.
