Ferrandis does not impress me at all, he forces the issue more often than he should and last night it took CC out of the race. I think a block pass is fine, that's racing, but what he executes are dangerous and AMA needs to nip that kind of behaviour before he badly hurts somebody.

Agree, block passes have a place. But in this case there was absolutely no reason or need for it at that point in the race IMO. Christian Craig wasn't riding defensive lines or holding him up, it was just impatience and lack of regard to other riders. AMA also agreed and gave him 12 months probation so he knows he will have to clean it up. I'm sure some will disagree.... but thats the fun of bench racing.

He nearly pinched Jett off the track on one set of rhythms. Something you expect of a less mature rider than himself.

I don't recall ever hearing a crowd boo a winner that loud or long on the podium. They actually had to cut it short because you couldnt hear him. For someone that finds himself having to work his way through the field regularly, it wasnt smart. I'm sure other riders took note and might ride more defensively in front of him now.

Maybe Geico Honda can entice/hire Jeff Alessi out of retirement as their team on track enforcer.

Tomac won me $6 cash dollars at my work pool...finally. I decided to vote against my personal pick, Webb. Good thing I did. It was heartbreaking to see Jett let that one slip away. I suspect he'll be back, soon.

MOTOCROSS & SUPERCROSS NEWS - RACER X ONLINE

Roczen has won in Glendale once before, Tomac twice. Blake Baggett took his maiden 450SX class victory here last year and might be someone to keep an eye on after he nearly stole the show last week as well. As we move into practice today though, all eyes still remain on rookie Adam Cianciarulo who has been atop the time sheets eight out of the first nine sessions.

Roczen rolled. He looked solid. Broadcast cut out one red flag... 5 starts on that long straight.

Good racing. Tomac solid. El Hombre sneaking into the mix. Bam bam hanging but needs to show next week.

250’s was good. Forkner looking good. Cooper with an off night.

I do enjoy the three race format.

I agree, the three race format is fun. Don't think I'd want a complete switch, because LCQ's can be awesome, but if they ran them every other race? That'd be alright.

Kenny looked awesome...they got that Honda dialed! Tomac looked to be struggling a little with set up but put in a good nights work. His starts are getting better ...but still suck! Ozborn looked like a novice out there...not sure what's going on with him? AC is turning in to the crash king...he better get a handle on it before he gets hurt! Anderson has been sneaking in there lately...he's riding good. Webb sucks in the whoops!
Good to see local guy (from sebastopol) get an overall podium in 250's Sucks for Michael Craig (broke wrist?) he's been riding great... but lots of bad luck...maybe the time off will let him "reset" and he can finish the year strong.

Certainly Oakland brings a different track. I believe it was the track that got paddle tires outlawed back in the day. There will be sand.
