That was a terrible crash. He's still recovering from it; I'm surprised he's back at work, actually.
The guys over at FinalGear.com (where I am also a member) actually designed and commissioned a helmet for him. He sent us a nice "thank you" and an email. He even wore it in a couple episodes (I think in the Veyron vs Eurofighter challenge). He doesn't wear it much because he doesn't want to scratch it.
I hope this doesn't get me in trouble, but you can see the design and links to all the threads about the helmet HERE.
