My past two track days have been mediocre, I got terrible pain in my knees from my one piece and have explored many alternatives, new suit, Dainese pants to match my jacket, etc... etc... The problem, they all cost $500+ and don't guarantee results.

I saw the Moto-D under suit and thought it'd be a nice way to keep me from sticking to the suit, and keep me cool.

Just used it today for a hot day at Sonoma Raceway and have to say it was the most comfortable I have felt in a long time. My first time in the last 2 track days that I road all 20min of all seven sessions (okay, the last session was 15min, but I would've gone 20min if they let me!).

Previously my legs have decided they weren't going to keep working right after 12-15min.

Why? The Moto-D suit! Previously my knee had stuck to the suit and caused excessive pressure when hanging off. The slick Moto-D material on the other hand, allowed the leather to freely move around my knee and prevent any pressure caused by sticking pants.

They don't advertise this much but this was the main reason I wanted to give it a shot and I couldn't have been more pleased with how well it worked out.

I won't go on about quality or anything of that, it was great, as was the price and service. You can read more about that kind of stuff here.

Just curious, have you tried other under layers ( under armour ? ) before Moto-D ?

If yes, how does it compare ?

I have a short sleeve under armor shirt that seemed like it might've had slightly better cooling properties, but I haven't worn it in years and this was a particularly warm day today.

A set of under armor would cost a good bit more than this suit though, and would be a two piece set.

The best thing about the Moto-D unit is that its one piece and is very comfortable with a racing suit on.

Just to add to this.

I am coming from an UnderArmour two-piece undersuit. I have to say that the UA stuff is snugger and there is not one bit of loose material. That said, the Moto-D undersuit is more comfortable under the leathers since there are basically no seams. It also wicks and cools well.

I endorse it for sure especially when you consider it is a small company still. Feels good helping the little guy even though everyone's stuff is all made in the same place across the pacific.

Agreed, kind of makes me wonder what a small would feel like but then again it was very comfortable under the leathers and snug enough, just didn't have that same super tight compression feeling some of my under armor gear had.

For what I bought it for it was perfect. I am actually sore now, and I mean that in a good way! Normally don't have enough "freedom" in the suit to move around enough to be this sore two days later. I love it :ride
