Is there any safe moto parking around Levi Stadium? Or do I need to donate a kidney to pay for parking? Haha

The last bikes I saw parked at AT&T came out to discover parts missing. Of course they were only the expensive farkles, so they did get to ride them home.

I'm always suspicious of the high paid lot attendants attention to preserving your property.

Good. Fucking. Luck. Try Blue Lot 1. Tell them you're disabled, pay $40.00. Come back to knocked over bike.

I live near the new stadium, well not super close. You would still need to walk a ways but if anyone wants to park their bike at my place for a game they can. Just PM me.

Green lot 1, which is where we parked last week and is $50, is where all the disabled spots are. Which we certainly used since the GF has a placard till the end of the year. Parking as close as it gets without paying $5k a head for Michael Mina's "tailgate experience" bullshit.

But it's also where the bulk of the tailgaters are. And tons of people walking through to/from the further away lots. There's also concessions there. Plus it feeds into one of the main gates. So in other words, depending on how you look at it, Green 1 is either the safest or the most dangerous lot to park in. Without a disabled placard though, you will absolutely need to buy a parking pass ahead of time.

Fresh!
This is why I like BARF.

Managed to park in lot 5. Talked our way into paying for just one parking spot for two bikes. Only $40 instead of $80. Had security guards watching our bikes the whole time too. They were close by. No problem getting in or out on the bikes. I advised getting on 237 from Lawrence Expressway when leaving.

I did see a residential street that looked like it had street parking from the stadium. It is pretty close by. It is off Lafayette Street just east of the stadium. Right across from the practice facility and field. It is called Calle De Primavera.

Gonna put the local's secret up on blast? Ok. Well don't try to park any closer than Calle De Primavera. If you try, you'll see the signs that say no parking on stadium event days with the list of days. They will tow indiscriminately...don't even care if you live there.

But those other streets off Lafayette, like Eisenhower or Hope that lead into the residential stuff? It's a little walk but knock yourselves out.

I used to live on Hope... went to the Earthquakes/Sounders game and had the Uber driver drop us off at Calle Primavera. Worked great! Across the tracks, up the stairs, and there you are.

Bus service to Mountain View VTA was a slow disaster, I'm not sure why it went all the way up Tasman to Lawrence before taking 237, rather than just taking Great America to 237 (and apparently there was no traffic control at Lawrence because we CRAWLED)... but at the end of the day, there's much better freeway access from Levi stadium than from the 'Stick....

..... as long as it's on a weekend!

Even though this is an old post, just wanted to provide my recent experience for others based on the AMA Supercross event last weekend:
-Yes every lot is the same rate for motorcycles.
-No there are not dedicated motorcycle spaces
-No you don't get to park any closer.
-Calle De Primavera had a cop checking IDs for resident addresses. Probably not entirely legal, but you don't want to get into a discussion with him right before a show.
-Either park further out than Calle De Primavera, or get dropped off on Lafayette under the bridge.

Shoreline is a great venue for motorcycles with the free parking right up front. I'll keep supporting them instead of Levi's Stadium.

Think about it...
Sports franchise is sold out from day one, despite years of sub-par performance, citizens continue un-dying support of team.

Team farts in general direction of ticket holders, citizens and anyone else that supported team, goes to town south and forgets to thank anyone for years of support, for the NON-Profit tax status, for the millions in police and city overtime to manage traffic and stadium security...

Do you think they are going care about you, and your motorcycle?

nah

Nailed it.

I thought it was good for the stadium to employ that many cops on OT. Are they not compensating the departments? That was a lot of full time officers on duty from both Police and CHP that I would be surprised the tax payers would be picking up.

what

last time i check tax payers funded those departments

i am not surprised since nobody can ever balance their budgets and their pensions are sky high that the taxpayer are paying for the OT

i would assume if levi stadium provided their own security, they wouldnt be ppl in LEO outfits

In SF they're referred to as 10B, but most departments I've interacted with offer a program where you can enlist the police for special events. It's not guaranteed, but many times when you see a greater than normal number of officers at some street fair, concert or whatever, the organizer is paying a pretty penny for them to be there.

Does anyone know if it's gotten any better for parking.
We need a safe place for my bike for parking tonight ?
Thanks
Jim

they don't care at all
it's not part of their job for one thing, and for another they're clocked out and sent home or at least to a different assignment once incoming traffic dies down.

the back of your ticket says "park at your own risk" or similar as well.

keep in mind people that santa clara is basically san jose, an area well known for high motorcycle theft and you're basically parking in the open on the street. don't be dumb about it.
