Update for Clarity

For anyone new to the thread or looking for clarity on how the TV Go Channels lineup works, my research has shown that this part of your subscription package is driven by your HD cable box channel lineup. What that means is, if a channel is included with your HD cable box package in either SD or HD, chances are you'll have access to it via TV Go. If the channel doesn't show up on your TV Go list, chances are you don't have it on your HD cable box. If anyone has had different results with this, let me know and I'll update these comments.

Sidebar I

  • Moving forward, keep an eye out for last-minute programming changes between FS1 & FS2.
  • Due to last-minute (and unexpected) programming changes for the past 2 race weekends, I will be checking Xfinity's schedule to see if there are listings for more than the standard 2 races per weekend. If there are, I will post each one at the top of this post, as per usual. I will set my DVR to record all listings with the maximum extended time slot options, as we have now seen NASCAR and horse racing interrupt and/or postpone scheduled recordings.

6/28/20

Superbike: Race 2

5/29/20

FS2 is now channel 779 (HD) (Xfinity cable box).
FS1 is channel 731 (HD) (Xfinity cable box).

The first two MotoAmerica Superbike races are scheduled for this weekend (confirmed & recordings scheduled):

*Superbike Race 1 on Saturday @ 1:00 pm PST (FS2)
*Superbike Race 2 on Sunday @ 11:00 am PST (FS1)

OP

Xfinity customers, in case you didn't know, chances are you have access to 'TV Go' (part of Xfinity Stream), and my package includes FS2 in HD (FS2 through the HD cable box is in SD).

Here's how I access mine:

Sign in online > My Xfinity > More Shows > Live TV (dropdown) > TV Go Channels > FS2

Today's Superbike race is at 3:30.

Does that then add it to the guide or do you have to go into the app menu on your TV to access it after signing in on line?

Thanks for the heads up. :thumbup

The sequence to access TV Go Channels does not add it to your HD cable box guide. The TV Go Channels Guide is similar to your channel lineup on your cable box but differs because it offers more channels.

Think of the TV Go Channels Guide as being an online web-based version of your HD cable box guide, with more channels.

Check out the additional screenshots in this post. The PAC-12 network, Starz & HBO all offer more channels through the TV Go Guide online than the HD cable box. There are probably more examples that I haven't looked for.

Today's Superbike race is on at 5:00.

So I can add it to my Roku?

Sorry for all the questions. :laughing

I'm recording in SD even if I forget to add TV Go.

MotoAmerica Race (Day 1) (replay) is on today @ 5:00, and Day 2 (replay, as they call it) is on tomorrow @ 3:30 on FS2 (HD).

Hmm I don't have the TV Go in the drop down menu for live tv, it just all channels and favorites. When I go to all channels it has TV Go channels but no FS2 :(

If you're missing TV Go Channels from your dropdown list (see my options in the attachment), it might be worth a phone call to find out why you don't have that option.

If you don't have FS2 in SD on your cable box, that might explain why FS2 HD is missing from your All Channels lineup.

The social distancing/mask wearing seems a bit hit/miss compared to Formula 1.
