Motocross boots for street riding

Another vote for the Sidi Crossfires; they have the hingy ankle thing, but you wouldn't want to be dancin' in 'em. They're amazingly comfy for an MX boot, and when I lowsided on the BBridge, they just laughed.

For waterproofness...wear Sealskinz socks.

neither are real motocross boots but good for dual sport rides , commutes, and light offroad stuff....

alpinestar scout is also good, altho a bit bulkier than the sidi...

I have had the Scouts for about a year and I love em. Waterproof all winter, and comfy as hell even to walk in. Have used as hiking boots even. Hot but it worked.

My problem as well. Every manufacturer seems to think I should be perfectly comfortable with all my toes squashed together.

My snowboarding boots, I found out, like to tuck my smallest toe underneath my foot and make it fall asleep. FAIL!

Dont want that in a $500 Moto boot.

I used the Gaerne's daily on my drz and no have switched them to dirt duty. Fricken awesome and you can still feel everything. Squeek a lil when you walk but crazy comfy. Couldn't feel sh*t in my A* Tech 3's so I bought these.

gaerne doesn't get the recognition it deserves..probably cuz of conservative advertisements and marketing...

highly recommended boots...

had the SG10s and loved them...good prices and cheaper than sidi/astars...

Tech tens. I like 'em, although they may not be as safe as a street boot... Haven't been down in them yet on the street, will report back...

Ok, this is the report back part: I've now been down at the track wearing the tech tens. Little to no rash from a good off. They've broken in quite nicely and I still wear them 49 out of 50 times I'm on the bike. Would get for free from rep again!
