MOTOGP 2012 Round 1 : Doha, Qatar. 4/5-4/8 2012

Because he passes like a bitch, immediately swerving and chopping off the passed rider's front wheel, instead of holding his line. Not just Luthi, but previous passes on the front straight.

Does anyone recall that race in 09 at cataluna? Jorge over takes Rossi on the brakes going into turn one and puts Rossi on the strip where Rossi proceeds to over take jorge. That's the difference from a champion and someone who has never won at their current level.

Yeah, I remember.

But...

[devil's advocate]

It was slightly different in how much room each pair of riders had in between them, AND that Rossi wasn't on the rumble strips like Luthi had to be, AND that off the racing line at Qatar is probably more risky than any other tracks in the whole calendar.

If Kurosaki didn't bump this thread out of Timbuktu, we wouldn't be having this convo again. :twofinger

:laughing

i think the closest we've come to actually bitching about hard-racing in GP for recent years is Motegi 2010 between Rossi and Lorenzo... and the drama really only started because they were teammates.

Jorge was in front of Vale, he attempted to block him, and the only reason Rossi was on his side was because Rossi broke later than Jorge, Jorge didn't sit right next to him and push him onto the rumble strip like Marquez did to Luthi. Totally different.

It's not the difference, there are plenty of clean riding champions and race winners.

Correction: t'was Le Mans 2011 between Pedrosa and Simoncelli (RIP).

Fuck holding your line, not holding his line won him a race

Win races fuck bitches make Money. I love Marquez, he's winning races And making Hella money.

It looked like his rear tire was even with luthi's front tire. So to me he made the pass and moved back onto the racing line to set up for the next corner. Luthi should have gave him the room and slipped in right behind him to continue racing.

The incident was 110% luthi's fault to me. Just good race craft.
