Autosport has also learned Yamaha has renegotiated its deal with SRT, offering it two ‘B-spec’ M1s – essentially non-works bikes – for 2022.

Vale really did go into that team to underwhelm for one season, then bail with all his money leaving the SRT stock downgraded.

Of course it's a distortion. But to believe they're going to be competitive to the level of customer Ducs seems a far cry from reality given what Vale is doing and what Morbidelli has done in the past.

Eh- Our resident MM haters are mostly VR46 lovers so they don't have much reason to be around these days. Besides, they don't watch practice because racecraft and all...


edit: I forgot to address the move. Maybe I saw something different but Mir was just tooling into the corner while MM was really practicing. I don't think they even made contact. Mir was just having a hard time and wanted to take the focus off his times.

Instead of rev bombing the bike out of frustration he should have just calmly pitted and refused to go out again for mental health reasons.
