Balaton Park is going to be a historic as the track becomes the latest venue to have the MotoGP circus comes to pitch their tents. The Grand Prix of Hungary will be a new challenge for the crews and riders.
Here is a quick peek at the track.
Not sure how much of that is computer generated, but this high speed turn does not look to have the run off expected.

Here is what I assume is a more current aerial.

Unfortunately for the other racers it is Marc Marquez who is the current racer that has the most wins at new tracks.
Considering his season so far this year I don't think that bodes well for the rest. Olivera has won twice at new tracks, but given his season I doubt we will see much. Maybe an appearance in Q2 will prove me wrong.
Current Points:
Marc A LOT
Alex a lot less
Pecco even less
Everyone else forget about it.
So no pretty pics of guys from last years race. No real deep dive into a story line... just Marc. Kicking ass and taking names.
His utter brilliance is amazing. His quality seat time during races is so much better than the past. Specially when he was trying to wring out victories with an inferior Honda.
I guess the story line will be more.. can Aprillia and KTM continue to rise?? Can anyone else besides Fabio Q. even sniff Q2 on a Yamaha? Is there good food in Hungary if you are hungry?
Poll reflects the above.
I am still excited the see the new track and racing.
